This man felt like he was in a foreign country after seeing the scenic view of nature in Impasug-ong, Bukidnon!

Uploader Nelmar Yamar said he and his friends traveled from Davao to visit the Communal Ranch in Bukidnon on February 25, 2023.

"Naisipan lang namin magbarkada na pumunta ng Bukidnon kasi gusto namin mapuntahan 'yung sinasabi nila na New Zealand of the Philippines," he told The Philippine STAR.

Surrounded by lush green terrain, he asked his friend Nely Jane Econg to take a photo of him while enjoying the moment.

"It’s more like letting go of the things that I can’t control, and embracing the person that I’m becoming in the moment," he said.

Yamar shared that they paid P40 for the environmental fee during their visit.

The National Parks Development Committee joins the nation in the observance of National Flag Days, which starts today, May 28.

Pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 374 signed on 6 March 1965, May 28 is declared as National Flag Day to commemorate the first time our national emblem was unfurled after the victory of the Philippine Revolutionary Army against the Spanish forces in the Battle of Alapan in Imus, Cavite in 1898.

Executive Order No. 179 was issued on 23 May 1994, extending the period of celebrating National Flag Day from May 28 to June 12.

All Filipinos are encouraged to display the Philippine flag in all offices, agencies, and instruments of government, business establishments, schools, and private homes throughout this period.
