In celebration of the 30th Kalinga Founding Anniversary and the 6th Bodong Festival, the Provincial Government of Kalinga, led by Governor James S. Edduba, in partnership with the Balbalan Mayor's Office under Hon. Almar Malannag and Congressman Allen Jesse Mangaoang, invite 250 adventurers and trekking enthusiasts (limit based on tourist Capacity) to participate in the LUMIN-AWA Trek III.

This exciting event showcases the breathtaking Banao Protected landscapes of Balbalan, on February 6 to February 8, 2025.

Immerse yourself in Kalinga’s natural beauty and cultural heritage as you traverse scenic trails and connect with fellow nature lovers.

Here's the itinerary for this unforgettable adventure:
Itinerary:

• February 6, 2025: Start at the Kalinga-Abra Boundary and ascend the stunning Pamusilon Camp Site.

• February 7, 2025: Journey from Pamusilon to Ducligan, culminating in a joyous Victory Night celebration.

• February 8, 2025: Explore the historic Spanish Trail in Talalang, completing the trek.

Trekkers are required to cover their environmental and guide fees of only ₱440 per head, payable at the Danao PMB and to the Balbalan Tourism Office.

Lunch and Dinner for all three days will be generously sponsored by the Office of the Provincial Governor, the LUMIN-AWA Trek Committee, the Office of the Congressman, and the Office of the Balbalan Mayor.
