What time is best for evening fishing? 🎣
Generally speaking, the best time of day to catch fish is in the reduced daylight hours from dawn until 2 hours after sunrise and from 2 hours before sunset until dusk. During these windows, light is reduced, prey becomes more active, and water temperatures cool slightly allowing fish to more freely hunt for food, thus becoming the hunted.

Bantayan Island is located off the northwest coast of Cebu, 136 kilometres (85 miles) from Cebu City. It has 3 municipalities:
Santa Fe, Bantayan, and Madridejos.

Getting there:

Public transport to Hagnaya port
From Mactan-Cebu Int'l Airport (CEB)
Take a taxi to the Cebu City North Bus Terminal – about 30 minutes
Take a Ceres bus to Hagnaya Port – about 3.5 hours
Take a ferry to Santa Fe Port – about 1 hour

Another option is to take a private transfer which includes a pick-up from your hotel in Cebu City and drop-off at Hagnaya Port in North Cebu.
