Tayo po ay magsama sama at magkaisa para sa layunin ng aming grupo na maipagpatuloy ang tapat at totoong serbisyo para sa isang maunlad at progresibong Baras. Maraming salamat sa inyong suporta!

BARAS: UNITED MOVE TOWARDS OPTIMISTIC CHANGE and DEVELOPMENT

Contest Mechanics

• This contest is open to ONLY FOUR (4) teams of three (3) members who are presently residing in Baras, Catanduanes.
• Teams must signify intention to join as early as possible and must register at
tinyurl.com/BarasCatFiesta2021 on or before 12:00 noon of July 30, 2021.
• The murals will be at least 3m high x 1m wide ( portrait orientation) painted on a concrete wall at the church compound. The concrete wall will be prepared with latex primer paint. Contestants should paint with latex paint (thalo blue, thalo green, Venetian red, hansa yellow, lampblack, toluidine red, raw sienna, etc., and mixtures).
• The mural must be reflective and relevant to the fiesta theme.
• On contest day, 4 August 2021, Thursday:
o 1. Bring the latex paints, the brushes, and the palettes or mixing bowls to be used.
o 2. Register at the area at 8 am to get a team number. By lottery choose the wall span for your mural painting. Tape the team number on the selected span.
o 3. Contestants are allowed 8 hours to paint their entries and must finish at 5–6 pm. 4.
o No text may be written on the painting. Instead, submit a score sheet with the team number, the title of the painting, and 10 sentences about the ideas depicted in the painting.
• Contestants will receive Certificates of Participation on the contest day.
• Cash prizes will be awarded to the winners at 3 pm on Monday, August 10, 2021.
