Barotac Viejo Fire Station personnel headed by SFO4 Jerry P Abay, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, assisted by the 5th District of Iloilo Municipal Fire Marshals and Personnel, organized Barangay Kiddie Fire Square Roadshow at Barotac Viejo gymnasium, at Brgy. Poblacion, Barotac Viejo, Iloilo.

Participants were the Learners from Municipal Day Care Center and St. Peter and Paul Parochial School Inc. The event was attended by our ever Supportive Municipal Mayor. Hon. Nielo "B**gbong" C. Tupas.

By conducting such activities, young learners were able to interact, enjoy, and learn the importance of fire prevention and response. Furthermore, this engagement strengthens public awareness and Safety.

Barotac Viejo Fire Station extends our heartfelt thanks for the time, support, and assistance from our fellow firefighters from the 5th district of Iloilo and Crim interns from NISU, Ajuy Campus. Through your initiative and efforts the success and safe conduct of the activity was guaranteed. God bless us all.

PAGEANT GUIDELINES:

👑QUALIFICATIONS

1. Event Participants must have the following qualifications:

👑 At least 5’4 in height
👑 Single, never been married/ have never given birth
👑 A bonafide resident of Barotac Viejo or with Barotacnon bloodline.
👑 MUST be fully vaccinated.
👑 Possesses good moral character.
👑 Exudes beauty and confidence.

👑REQUIREMENTS

2. Entries will only be considered official once the following documents are complete & submitted to the organizer at Tourism Office, 2/F Office of the Mayor, B-Causing Street, Barotac Viejo, Iloilo.

👑 A duly signed Endorsement/ Certification from the barangay captain/ district.
👑 Duly accomplished Diyosa sang Patubas Festival 2023 Application Form
👑 A certified true copy of Birth Certificate

3. Deadline of submission of the application and requirements on November 21-23, 2023 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Tourism Office, 2/F Office of the Mayor, B-Causing Street, Barotac Viejo, Iloilo.

🔻🔻🔻Only 1 candidate per district endorsed by respective barangay/districts in the Municipality will be the official candidate of Diyosa sang Patubas Festival 2023. IN THE EVENT THAT A DISTRICT DOES NOT HAVE A REPRESENTATIVE, THE COMMITTEE WILL HAVE FULL AUTHORITY TO ENDORSE A CANDIDATE FROM THE POOL OF APPLICANTS TO REPRESENT THAT DISTRICT.🔻🔻🔻

4. Once a candidate has been qualified by the organizer, no protest shall be entertained regarding her qualification.

5. As a participant in the Search for Diyosa sang Patubas Festival 2023, you commit to all activities set by the organizers from day 1 until the coronation night such as but not limited to: Pre-Pageant & Preliminaries event. Non- participation in any activities shall result in disqualification.

6. Candidates are to abide by the implementing rules without violating government health and safety protocols.

7.. Candidates must abide by all rules and regulations of the pageant. The candidates shall, at all times, conduct themselves in a respectable and decent manner. The organizing committee reserves the right to disqualify a candidate who will violate any of the pageant rules and regulations.

9. All Judges’ decisions are final.

10. Diyosa sang Patubas Festival 2023 winner and her court must fulfil the official functions set by the organizing committee and Local Government of Barotac Viejo

In the heart of Barotac Viejo, the town proudly welcomes back their newly crowned Lin-ay Sang Iloilo 2023 with an awe-inspiring grand homecoming caravan. The entire community has come together to celebrate her remarkable journey and accomplishments.

Under the azure skies, the caravan winds its way through the quaint streets, lined with cheering spectators. Flags adorn the route, a colorful symphony of support and admiration. The excitement is palpable, with smiles and laughter echoing through the air.

FIT FOR A QUEEN | After a historic triumph last October 20,2023 crowned as the 1st Lin-ay sang Iloilo 2023. The Barotacnon Beauty Queen, Lyka Shane Balofiños will join a Grand Caravan this 𝗢𝗖𝗧𝗢𝗕𝗘𝗥 27, 2023 at 7:30 in the morning.

Queen Lyka will be paraded through the main thoroughfares of Barotac Viejo to meet and wave to her adoring Barotacnon supporters.

We invite all well wishers to witness this another victorious day!
