As long as nobody take action lawfully the owner of Jam Jude Travel Agency Rosyl Macatangay can continue her shady business. I am writing this next post as an update or MIGHT BE an aftermath of stress when an entity put you in a situation that you do not want or intended to be in. What we went through or what we are having now might not be correlated to it. You decide.

After the failed Boracay trip on December 16, 2022 where we waited at the airport for gruesome almost 12 hours due to the mistake done by Jam Jude Travel Agency (duplicating my husband's name and omitting my sons name on the ticket) and later cancelled flight by Cebu Pacific as stated in my previous post. That night we had to figure out where to go at 9:00 in the evening. We are not from Manila so it will take 3 hours for somebody to pick us up from the airport. I decided to just put my family to a cheap hotel and wait the next day due to exhaustion. Thank you Cebu Pacific employees that were no help at all. (You know that I am being sarcastic right?!)

My mother was able to bounce back to herself after a lot of fluids and and almost 12 hours of sleep. My son was another story. He started complaining abdominal pain and later on started having a fever. We were able to get my brother in law to pick us up from the hotel. Next day my son started having diarrhea together with fever and abdominal pain. This is not the vacation that I wanted for my mother, husband more so for my son. The fear as mother not being in your comfort zone was all the feeling I had while caring for my son at the same time feeling defeated, depressed and questioning myself. All the IF's were occupying my days. After a visit to a pediatrician, a prescription of antibiotics and fever reducer we continued our other plans. Again not being at ease and constantly asking myself if I am putting your son to a grave danger for he never had this days of diarrhea, fever and abdominal pain ever. When I asked my son how he was doing he will just tell me that he does have stomach pain and maybe tomorrow it will be better. I only felt comfortable that he was feeling better on December 24th. Finally he was eating without complaining of abdominal pain and diarrhea. Fever finally subsided.

Merry Christmas right!? My mother complained of chills and feeling of having fever that wont come out. She looked weak and just want to sleep. Just a re-cap my mother is a 76 year old woman with a lot of comorbidities such as diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipemia, history of stroke and cancer with mobility problems. I brought with us a PCR home covid test, tested my mother and there you go, two solid red line. Sigh!.
I can not help but laugh. A frantic, uncomfortable laugh like I am getting crazy. We were suppose to get back to US in the 26th.
So long story short my mother was left to recuperate in the Philippines. I am thankful for my family that took care of her.
It was a hard decision for we know that it will cost a lot to get a direct flight ticket on holidays.
My husband, my son and I went back to US since we do not have symptoms and with negative Covid test.
December 26, 2022 back in US.
My husband complained of feeling congested and fatigue. So what do you think happened next? He tested positive from Covid. Isolated himself right away. My son and I tested negative.

I woke up with a headache, sinus congestion and cough. So again tested myself and there you go, Covid positive. The only one not positive at this time in my family is my son.
Now I can not go back to work. As all knows NO work NO pay.

Mom was able to get back to US after her isolation and finally getting better. We had to cancel her previous flight without refund and ate the cost for that. Since she had nobody with her to assist her we had to book her to a direct flight for a whooping $1600+.

Is this a coincidence that December 16th when we were force to stay in the airport for 12 hours to have Rosyl Macatangay work her magic as a travel agent is how long COVID's incubation period on a person depending on his/her health takes?
Is it also a coincidence that its only the four of us who suffered an enormous stress on that day got sick?
I am leaving this question to you my dear readers.

Happy New Year to the hard working honest people that will NOT just stand down and roll to just have someone step on them and crush them like a piece of garbage.
I encourage people to speak up if have been wrong by Jam Jude Travel Agency run by Rosyl Morales Macatangay.

Our story:
We requested assistance from Jam Jude Travel Agency for our Boracay Trip. This agency was recommended by our nanny in the Philippines. She used this agency for her trip to Boracay before with out any problem. At the same time this is the agency we trusted to take care of my nieces and nephew's visa application which until now have not got their interview date. That will be another whole story.
The agency had 3 different packages offered for Boracay tour. Which we research for which one is the best for my family. My mother is a 76 years old with mobility problems, cancer survivor and other comorbidities and for my 4 year old toddler.

October 13,2022
We asked our nanny in the Philippines to coordinate with the agency. We chose 4D3N Boracay Henan Garden Resort for P12, 988 per person for my mother, my husband, my kid and I. Scheduled on Dec 16th to 19th.
Same day Rosly requested a P5,000 each person down payment to start the process. Paid deposit of P20,000 on October 14 together with our passports as her requirements.
November 3,2022
Gave the full payment of P 31,952 so she can release the reservations.
November 21, 2022
The agency released our plane ticket information. My husband's name was duplicate and we are missing my son's name on the itinerary. Pointed that out to fix it. The agent said she fixed the mistake and we do not have to worry about it. I was not able to follow up again due to our busy schedule.
December 15, 2022
In the afternoon, Rosyl called my brother-in-law and asking for a Filipino ID for she stated that Henan was requiring a Filipino ID. We were able to to give her a copy of my mother's Filipino ID. It was already late in the afternoon and we still didn't got a word from the agency. Called Rosyl to coordinate what was going on with the hotel reservation. She then said Henan was not answering. Like? what? I asked her why is she just confirming reservation less than 24 hours before our trip. She said the requirement for a Filipino ID was new. She want us to take La Carmela instead. That made me ballistic. First she was giving me stress a day before the trip. Second the deal was Henan Garden Resort. We wanted an easy access to the beach for my mother who has a mobility problem and my 4 year old toddler. I finally gave up after my brother in law told me to just take it. I gave up and said yes to down grading to La Carmela just to had the Boracay trip happen.

We went to the airport as early as 9:00 in the morning for the flight was 12:50pm. Went to the check in counter of Air Asia terminal 3. The airline representative stated that my 4 year old son does not have a ticket and coordinate with our travel agent. I felt like I was going to explode. I was shaking from anger.
Called Rosyl, she apologize and tried to reason out but I do not need an apology I need it fixed. She stated she will rebook us to Philippine airlines leaving at 2 pm. I told her to book as us to a flight that is leaving as early as possible and we need the reservation as soon as she get us re-booked so we can check in and get inside the airport so my mother who is also diabetic and my kid can eat. Every hour I was calling her. From 9 am until almost 1pm when she sent us a plane ticket for Cebu Pacific at 5:50pm. We went to the counter again and was told that we should be in terminal 4. I have no idea how to get from one terminal to another. Hungry and tired we were able to get a taxi going to terminal 4. I can see my mother dwindling, trying to keep up and sweating like hell. My son fell asleep on the way to terminal 4 for he was asking for food but we did not had access for food until we got to Terminal 4. We went to another long line under the heat to get in the terminal. Waited again in a small waiting area until 5pm packed like sardines of passengers. Flight was announced delayed twice and at the third time it was announced cancelled. At that time my mother looks like she was so weak from long day in the airport and heat exhaustion. My son started having a fever. My husband and I decided to throw the towel. It was physically, mentally and emotionally draining day.
I felt so defeated cant help myself but cry. Until now this experience gives me sleepless night, anger and mistrust on people.
I hope this post reaches as much readers to give a glimpse of what I think is a true horrific supposedly vacation story and to think twice, three times before trusting Jam Jude Travel Agency run by Rosyl Macatangay.
