The meeting, led by Mayor Ricardo I. Padilla, Vice Mayor Christian P. Binuya, and the RP Team, covered details about the location, the groundbreaking ceremony, and the potential benefits for the town and its residents.

Mayor Padilla highlighted that this expansion is not just a business move but also an opportunity to bring joy and support to local communities by creating jobs and offering delicious food at affordable prices. The much-awaited anticipation of the proposed Landers Superstore in Cabanatuan City is expected to generate significant employment opportunities, with an estimated 4,000 jobs for locals and residents of Nueva Ecija and nearby provinces. The planned site for this superstore is around 8 hectares, making it comparable in size to the Landers in Naga City. Landers Superstore operates as a membership-only warehouse store, similar to S&R, and is often referred to as the "Costco of the Philippines" due to its format and offerings. This development is set to boost the local economy and provide a convenient shopping destination for Novo Ecijanos. The ongoing negotiation is still in progress which will span around 10-12 months before the construction of this new branch begins. Ria Vergara in 2022, will also house government centers, including the new Cabanatuan City Hall.

The eco-park will feature a mini lake that can be used for boating, similar to Burnham Park in Baguio City, enhancing the recreational options for both residents and tourists. The Roman Catholic Diocese of Cabanatuan is preparing to welcome its new bishop. The installation of Most Rev. Prudencio P. Andaya, Jr., CICM, DD as the 6th Bishop of Cabanatuan is set for February 3, 2025, at the Saint Nicholas of Tolentine Cathedral in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija.

Bishop Andaya will succeed Most Rev. Sofronio Bancud, SSS, DD, who officially retired on December 8, 2024, after reaching the mandatory retirement age for bishops. This marks a significant transition for the diocese, as Bishop Andaya brings new leadership and vision to the faithful in Nueva Ecija.
