The Department of Tourismโs (DOT) Region 2 Office has reported anew the decline in the number of stranded tourists in Batanes from 103 to 2. A total of 101 passengers were accommodated in today's (October 28) flight out of Basco for their respective destinations. The two remaining passengers are scheduled to depart out of the island on November 1.

Tourists are urged to continually stay regularly informed through official weather updates from PAGASA and the National Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) as part of their travel itineraries.
