Public Advisory ❤️❤️❤️
Good news for Filipinos and others traveling to Manila! The exit of inbound travelers from Ninoy Aquino International Airport is seamless and convenient now, as the airport has derestricted the main arrival curbside access for all passengers. Terminal 1’s main arrival curbside was reserved for VIPs only until 10 January 2025. This inclusive step is being hailed as a positive move toward ensuring better accessibility and convenience, especially at one of the busiest terminals in the Philippines.
NAIA Terminal 1 has got significant improvements for enhanced convenience of for both domestic and international travelers flying into Manila as a prelude to this extended access. The newly expanded curbside now features 14 designated loading bays, labeled A1 to A14, for private vehicles. Bays A8 and A9 are specifically reserved for passengers with disabilities, while A11 and A12 remain exclusive for VIP pickups. In anticipation of increased passenger traffic, additional bays B1 to B6 have been added to accommodate more pick-ups.
A dedicated Meet and Greet Area has also been set up for domestic and international arrivals. To make transportation more accessible, Grab ride-hailing booths have been positioned in the area, offering passengers quick and easy booking options. Additionally, rent-a-car services, coupon taxis, and yellow-metered taxis have been relocated to the ground-level arrival extension area.
These improvements reflect NNIC’s commitment to making the airport more accessible and efficient for all passengers. Manila Airport’s new terminal reassignment includes the following:
• Terminal 1: Exclusive to Philippine Airlines (PAL)
• Terminal 2: Domestic flights for PAL & Cebu Pacific
• Terminal 3: International carriers
• Terminal 4: AirAsia flights
So, this time you arrive at Ninoy Aquino International Airport, there is no need to walk to the outer arrival curbside. Instead, stride your way into the city of Manila from Terminal 1 itself and make the most of your trip to the Pearl of Orient.
