GOOD NEWS everyone! Korea will resume the issuance of short-term travel visas and e-visas starting June 1. The C-3 visa allows foreigners to enter the country for tourism, transit, visiting relatives or similar reasons and to stay in Korea for up to 90 days.

Additionally, suspension for multiple-entry tourist visas will also be lifted. All multiple-entry visas issued before April 5, 2020 and their validity periods remain. These can still be used without any special measures.

Please wait for the official announcement of visa application procedures from the Korean Embassy.

Alam mo na ba ang requirements pauwi ng Pilipinas?

A. FULLY VACCINATED International Arriving Passengers

They shall be required to present a negative Reverse Transcription – Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) test taken within forty-eight (48) hours prior to departure from the country of origin.
Upon arrival, they shall no longer be required to observe mandatory facility-based quarantine but shall self-monitor for any sign or symptom for seven (7) days with the first day being the date of arrival and shall be required to report to the local government unit of destination upon the manifestation of symptoms, if any.
International arriving passengers must have any of the following proofs of vaccination against COVID-19:
World Health Organization (WHO) International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis; OR
VaxCertPH; OR
National/state certificate of the foreign government, including original CDC vaccination cards for those vaccinated in the US.
B. International Arriving Passengers who are UNVACCINATED, PARTIALLY VACCINATED, or those whose vaccination status could not be independently validated

They shall be required to present a negative RT-PCR test taken within forty-eight (48) hours prior to departure from the country of origin.
Additionally, they shall be required to undergo facility-based quarantine until the release of their negative RT-PCR test taken on the fifth (5th) day. After which, they shall be required to undergo home quarantine until their fourteenth (14th) day, with the date of arrival being the first day. The local governments of their destination and their respective Barangay Health Emergency Response Teams are tasked to monitor those arriving passengers undergoing home quarantine.
C. Children below twelve (12) years of age who cannot be vaccinated

They shall follow the quarantine protocols of the parent/s or the accompanying adult or guardian travelling with them.

Effective December 3, all international arriving passengers to the Philippines are required to submit a Negative RT-PCR test result atleast 72hours prior departure.

Moreover, facility base quarantine shall be 5 days for fully vaccinated individuals and 7 days for those who are unvaccinated.

E-9 VISA puede na nga ba mag bakasyon sa Pilipinas?

Ang South Korea ay napabilang sa Yellow List Countries ng IATF. Paalala lang na kumuha muna ng re-entry permit galing sa Immigration. Sa kasalukuyan ay Diplomats (A-1), Government Officials (A-2, A-3) or Overseas Korean (F-4) status lamang ang exempted sa re-entry permit.

•Must be fully vaccinated.
•Required facility-based quarantine for 5 days.
•Undergo a negative PCR test taken on the 5th day of quarantine.
•Quarantine at home until the 10th day from the arrival day.

Important information:
•Comply with the re-entry requirements prior booking a roundtrip ticket.
•Please secure a re-entry permit (재입국허가) from the Immigration.
•Re-entry permit for E9 Visa is SUBJECT FOR APPROVAL.

Mga ka-biyahe, handa kana ba bumiyahe patungong SOUTH KOREA?

Ngayong Oktubre, ang mga ka-biyahe na may kumpletong bakuna sa bansang South Korea o may bakuna na na-recognize sa Korea (fully vaccinated + two weeks) ay hindi na po kailangan mag-quarantine ng dalawang linggo at "passive monitoring" na lang pagbalik ng Korea.

Pero ang mga ka-biyahe na manggaling sa mga bansang ito ay kailangan pa rin mag-quarantine kahit na fully vaccinated na sila:

The International Certificate of Vaccination or ICV (also known as Carte Jaune) for COVID-19 is now available at the Bureau of Quarantine! This is a medical passport issued by the World Health Organization (primarily used for other infectious diseases like Polio, Yellow Fever, etc.).

Just a disclaimer, at the moment, there is no widely accepted or official vaccine passports for COVID-19, but it has been recognized by various countries in the past & admit it — it looks aesthetically better than the LGU card.

For now, the BOQ only issues ICVs for COVID-19 vaccines recognized by the WHO and these are Pfizer BioNTech, University of Oxford/AstraZeneca, Janssen/J&J, Moderna, Sinopharm, and last but definitely not the least, Sinovac’s Coronavac.

You may set an appointment and book here (it comes with a fee of PHP 300++). You can have a representative claim it for you for as long as you can present the original required documents (Letter of Authorization to claim, LGU Vaccine Card, Valid ID, Official Receipt, etc).
