The Philippines is honored to announce its role as the host of the ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF) in January 2026. Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco accepted the chairmanship during a ceremonial handover at the Johor International Convention Center on January 20, 2025. The ATF 2026 will feature the 29th ASEAN Tourism Ministers’ Meeting in Cebu, with preparatory events in Manila and Boracay. This prestigious gathering underscores the Philippines' commitment to fostering sustainable tourism and regional collaboration.

Secretary Frasco highlighted Cebu as a "hallmark of unity," showcasing successful collaboration among communities, businesses, and government in promoting responsible tourism. She extended an invitation to experience the Philippines' renowned hospitality, rich culture, and natural beauty during the ATF 2026. The event will also include the TRAVEX trade show and various conferences, further positioning the Philippines as a premier destination for international tourism events.
