The Gokongweis are making a big bet on the growth potential of domestic travel as their budget carrier Cebu Pacific has bought out boutique airline AirSWIFT Transport Inc. for P1.75 billion. Cebu Pacific is not just buying planes, but airlines as well!!! So basically after signing a 152-aircraft deal worth 1.4 trillion pesos, they just closed a deal to acquire a whole airline for 1.75 billion pesos. Just wow!

Parang lang "pabili ng 152 na eroplano tsaka isang buong airline!"
