Scuba diving in Governor Generoso, one of the municipalities in Davao Oriental, Philippines, offers a unique experience for scuba divers. Despite of the location, the municipality has recently gained attention from diving enthusiasts who are exploring the pristine municipal waters. One of our premier diving destination is the 6 kilometer Wall that includes Punta ni Juan, Ashleys Corner, JEG and Janelle's Garden. The Municipal Tourism of Governor Generoso participates the 1st Philippine Tourism Dive Dialogue (Sept. 14-16) hosted by the City of Cebu. The main goal of this program is to discuss and address current issues and concerns on tourism dive industry, sustainability, safety and standards(scuba diving), marine protection and conservation,investment and promotion.

Diving Coordinator of the Municipality of Governor Generoso (GovGen) in Davao Oriental Juan Miguel Inojales said there are 17 newly discovered diving spots in the municipality but only five are open for exploration.

Basarte Mangrove Park is where you can enjoy nature at your own company or spend time with friends and family.
