Siguro narinig mo na ang Airplane Mode ay ginagamit dahil ang mobile phone daw ay nakaka-interfere sa navigation ng airplane. Well, hindi daw masyado. Dahill according kay David Young, Aviation Customer Service Consultant ng Ideagen, ang mobile phone daw ay destructing. Dahil daw dito, nahahati ang attention ng mga tao sa mga safety procedure sa gitna ng briefing.

Marami din namang airlines na pinapayagan gumamit ng mobile phones ang mga passengers at connected din ang mga ito sa wifi. Pero paalala ng mga ito, mas ligtas pa din kung naka Airplane Mode ang mga phone o huwag na munang gamitin ito sa oras ng flight.

INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT TRANSFERS FROM GREEN LIST COUNTRIES NOW ALLOWED VIA MANILA

Effective immediately, travelers may now fly via Manila on a journey between two different countries, as the Philippine government has approved the reinstatement of such international transfers under the following conditions:

1. Passengers are traveling from a country in the Green List as defined by prevailing IATF Resolutions.
2. Passengers must be flying to Manila on a PAL international flight and must be departing from Manila on another PAL international flight on the same day (overnight transfers will not be permitted).
3. Passengers will undergo health and requirements checks conducted by the Bureau of Quarantine (BOQ) upon arrival and disembarkation in Manila prior to their departure on a connecting flight.
4. Transfers are permitted.
5. Passengers must present the following requirements to the aiport.
6. Passengers must observe the following health and safety protocols as mandated by the government.
