Quezon Province is known for its colorful and festive celebrations throughout the year. Here are some of the popular festivals and events in Quezon Province, Philippines:

Niyogyugan Festival - celebrated every August in Lucena City to showcase the province's abundance of coconut trees, which is also the main source of livelihood for the locals.

Pahiyas Festival - held every May 15th in Lucban, Quezon to honor San Isidro Labrador, the patron saint of farmers. This colorful festival features houses adorned with colorful kiping (rice wafers) and other agricultural products.

Agawan Festival - celebrated in Gumaca, Quezon every January 23rd to commemorate the town's foundation. This festival is highlighted by a friendly competition where participants try to grab as many "agaw" (coconut leaves) as possible.

Padroso Festival - held every February 25th in Sariaya, Quezon to celebrate the town's founding anniversary. This festival features street dancing, parades, and a trade fair.

Mayohan sa Tayabas - held in Tayabas, Quezon every May to celebrate the town's patron saint, St. Isidore the Laborer. This festival features a grand parade, street dancing, and various cultural activities.

Kawayan Festival - held every September 1st in Quezon to celebrate the town's bamboo industry. The festival features a street dance competition, cultural shows, and a bamboo product fair.

These are just some of the popular festivals in Quezon Province, and there are many more that are celebrated in various towns and cities throughout the year.

A second Saudi relief plane to leave Philippines
Aircraft departed relief the second Saudi King Khaled International Airport in Riyadh today heading to the Philippines give effect to directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud - may God protect him in aid of food and relief to the Government of the Philippines to assist in alleviating the suffering of those affected by the typhoon in the Philippines recently. The plane carrying on board a hundred tons of blankets, tents, food and medical supplies.
