The next stop for our ArtVenturers? The ArtVenture Santa Cruz Tourism Fashion Merchandise Design Challenges happening for four Saturdays beginning this coming September 30.

Meet the Competing Groups for GUNITA Historical Costume Design Competition
Get to know one of the team leaders of the competing groups in our ongoing GUNITA Historical Costume Design Competition: working student Angelo Polonias whose team will recreate ancient Egyptian costumes to take us back to one of the cradles of ancient civilizations intimately woven with the history of the Roman and Hebrew people from where the Santa Cruz Moriones practices drew inspiration.

Santa Cruz Senakulo Cast Workshop with Director from Ateneo de Manila University
The Municipality of Santa Cruz is excited to announce that this year's Senakulo 2023, Kristo Ang Tagapagligtas will be directed by an accomplished theater director from the Ateneo de Manila University, Department of Filipino Assistant Professor Mr. Jethro Tenorio. This weekend, Director Tenorio conducted the first in a series of acting workshops leading to the rehearsals of the cast and production staff of the Senakulo and visited the ongoing construction site of the Senakulo Passion Play at the Morion Place in Barangay Manlibunan.
Prof. Tenorio's participation as the director of the annual Senakulo is made possible by the support of the Office of the Mayor, the Public Affairs Department, and the I Love Santa Cruz Youth Movement.
