•Pinto Art Museum is an exhibition space and contemporary museum located in the Philippines’ historic pilgrimage city of Antipolo outside of Manila.
•The museum was founded in 2010 to publicly exhibit the art collection of Filipino neurologist and patron of the arts, Dr. Joven Cuanang.
•The museum (pintô means door in Filipino) was founded on the principle that art plays a diplomatic role in bridging distinctive nationalities, worldviews, and communities.
•Dr. Cuanang began collecting in the spirit of local artistic patronage in the late 1980s when he championed a revolutionary Filipino artist collective, The Salingpusa, through dedicated connoisseurship and acquisitions.
•The aesthetic traditions represented in the collection trace their roots to the history of Spanish colonial occupation and reference the tenets of academic and religious art, yet demonstrate a markedly different stylistic and technical trajectory following the proliferation of modernism in the mid-twentieth century.

Sharing you some fun facts and adventure tips for Hulugan Falls:

•Located in Brgy. San Salvador, Luisiana Laguna is an hour trek and hike going to the majestic falls.
•Expect a long trekking and hiking.
•Trails are a bit challenging, there will be steep rocky slopes along the way.
•There are rivers to cross, small and big ones.
•Witness small rapids or water cascades.

Adventure Tips:
•It’s not advisable to wear shoes, a waterproof trekking sandals is more convenient to use.
•Bring your own food and lots of water. Also make sure to bring your own trash bag, be a responsible tourist who takes care of nature.
•It’s best to go on a hot sunny day or summer. Rocky slopes are dangerous to hike when it’s rainy day.
•Take extra batteries for your camera and protective gears for each too. Waterproof cameras are great when you want to take photos within the waterfall area.

Stone Houses

▪️Built during the Spanish colonial era, Ivatan stone houses survived some of the strongest typhoons and have been considered a cultural treasure of the province.

Lighthouse

▪️One of the most popular landmarks in the province, the Basco Lighthouse in Naidi Hills is actually one of the three lighthouses proposed by former Congressman Florencio Abad

Honesty Store

▪️ As the name suggests, the Honesty Coffee Shop in Ivana started as a simple store which served hot water and coffee to people traveling to and from the island of Sabtang. The owner, Elena Castaño-Gabilo, a retired public school teacher, built the first store in the middle of the town with the help of her spouse, Jose.
