Royal Destination World Travel and Tours Corp. is looking for a Chef .
The primary roles of the Chef are as follow:
• Develop and execute inspired menus that showcase high quality ingredients, innovative flavors, and culinary artistry in local and international dishes.
• Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, inventory management, and adherence to health and safety standards.
• Uphold uncompromising quality standards in food preparation, presentation, and overall dining experience.
• Work closely with management to develop promotional strategies, special events, and culinary initiatives that drive guest satisfaction and business growth.
• Provide guidance and direction to kitchen team, fostering a culture of teamwork, excellence, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor food costs, optimize inventory levels, and implement cost-saving measures while upholding our commitment to quality and excellence.
• Will be involved in the company’s QA/QC (Standard Operating Procedures), Sustainability and Business Development activities.
Requirements and skills:
• Proven food and beverage management experience
• Guest-oriented and service-minded
• Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
• Able to delegate and monitor tasks
• Ability to manage and encourage personnel
• Communication and leadership skills
• Up to date with food and beverages trends and best practices
• Has 10+ years’ experience managing high performing teams and businesses
• A bachelor’s degree in a related field
