After the careful assessment of the Municipal Local Disaster and Risk Reduction Management Office, we regret to inform everyone that the water level is still high and the water currents are still strong, Badian Canyoneering and Kawasan Falls is still temporarily closed for all activities today (September 17, 2024), until further notice. The safety of our visitors and staff is our top priority, and this decision has been made to prevent any potential accidents or injuries.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and cooperation. We are closely monitoring the situation and will provide updates as soon as it is safe to resume activities.

✍️In the Queen City of the South, a palace of Teodoro Adarna’s Queen Leah Villa Albino-Adarna was made and replicated with a big statue in the middle. After a few years of waiting, the Philippine version of Taj Mahal has finally opened to welcome visitors.

✍️ The Cebu Heritage Monument is also located in the historically significant Parian District – home to prominent families of the old Cebu and the center of trade between locals, Chinese, and Spanish Mestizos.

✍️ It also served as the venue for lavish events organized by wealthy Chinese merchants. “Parian” was derived from the term “pari - pari” meaning “to barter or trade” which made the perfect name for the district. The rich history of the plaza can be seen from the 17th to 19th Century homes that are still standing up to this day.
