Two of nine Shaldag MK.V Fast Attack Interdiction Craft-Missile (FAIC-M) already arrived in the country and will be formally christened 8am tomorrow, Sept. 6, 2022 at the Commodore Divino Pier, Naval Station Jose Andrada, Roxas Boulevard, Manila.

The ships as previously reported will be named BRP Nestor Acero (PB-901) and BRP Lolinato To-ong (PB-902).

Philippine Navy Tested its Spike ER Missiles 🇵🇭

LOOK: Some photo highlights of the test firing of Spike-ER missiles conducted by the 4th Boat Attack Division using their recently fitted with Spike-ER missile system/mini typhoon remote weapon station MPACs (Multi Purpose Assault Craft). This event was held last March near the waters of Pilar, Bataan utilizing the decommissioned BRP BONI SERRANO (PC111) as the target. You can read the whole article which was published on Phil. One example: Just look at the media in how they portray the
headlines for our country. Any negative picture of the country under this admin, these news outlets will be quick to take a ride!

headlines palang pa obvious na.. always negative headline if it comes to Philippines especially Nikkie. especially if they are not in favor of the current president..
slower growth than the first quarter and this is how they present the headline... even if it is still positive news they still find a way to make it look negative.

how much more if it is lower.. they might as well make the headline tabloid like for example: "Philippines gets a sh*tty 2% growth in Q3 no chance of recovery"

Yet when it comes to our neighbors they are praising them like Gods.

Five biggest economies in the region, are set to sign a deal to integrate their network. Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand are connected, while Singapore and Philippines is seeking.

The aims of this cross-border QR transaction are to promote financial integration in the ASEAN region, increase value added in the MSME sector, and recover the tourism industry.

The 160kph diesel EMU is the first domestic Chinese EMU train to be exported to the Philippines. It has a business seat, a first-class seat, and a second-class seat. The configuration is rich, bringing passengers a brand-new, comfortable, beautiful and exquisite riding experience.

PNR Bicol will consist of a 565-kilometer railway, connecting Metro Manila to the southern Luzon provinces of Sorsogon and Batangas. Once fully operational, it will cut travel time between Metro Manila and Bicol from the current 12 hours by road to as short as 4 hours. Passenger trains will run at a speed of up to 160 kilometers per hour, while freight trains will run at a speed of up to 100 kilometers per hour. During construction, the project is expected to generate more than 5,000 direct jobs per year.

2 Guided Missile Corvette - under construction in Korea for the Philippine Navy. 🇵🇭

Notes:
The new corvette being built by HHI for the Philippine Navy is a multi-purpose surface combatant with a length of 116 m and a width of 14.8 m. The ship will have a maximum speed of 25 knots, a cruising speed of 15 knots, and a range of 4,500 nm.

Contract was awarded last Dec 2021 (See Link Below)

Length will be 116 meters as per the new design instead of 114 meters. The upcoming Philippine corvette will be larger than most frigates of our neighbors in the Asean Region and will be larger than Singapore's Formidable class frigate (114.8 meters) though it is still considered a corvette by standards it will be larger by length than most frigates in South East Asia

Will be the most advanced corvette warship in South East Asia once completed and delivered all armaments included including VLS and CIWS, anti ship, anti-air and anti- sub etc.

LRT line 6

The Manila Light Rail Transit System Line 6 or Line 6 of the Manila Light Rail Transit System Line 1 (Line 1 Extension), was a proposed rapid transit line planned to link the suburban city of Dasmariñas to the future Manila Line 1 extension at Niog station in Bacoor. Its path would have run along a north-south axis over a length of 19 kilometres (12 mi). Its proposed right-of-way alignment is along Aguinaldo Highway from Niog in Bacoor to Governor's Drive in Dasmariñas.

MRT Line 8

is a planned 11-station 9 km (5.6 mi)-long rapid transit line to be built along España Boulevard in Manila. and approved already by the National Economic Development Authority (NEDA). According to MTD Philippines, Inc. President Patrick Nicholas David, the project would cost ₱60 billion (US$1.2 billion).

C5 MRT Line 10

is a 22.5 kilometer mostly elevated Light Railway Transit (LRT) System consisting of sixteen (16) stations along circumferential road C-5 connecting the Ninoy Aquino Terminal Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 to Quezon City, terminating at Commonwealth Avenue with possible interchange with MRT7 at Tandang Sora Station and LRT Line 2 at Aurora Station. Trains will be stabled at the depot to be built at the UP property in Diliman, Quezon City. The project will cost ₱81.5 billion (US$1.6 billion).

is a 18 km (11 mi) elevated system to be built on Epifanio Delos Santos Avenue, Quirino Highway and Zabarte Road in Quezon City and Caloocan in Metro Manila and San Jose del Monte, Bulacan. The project will cost ₱71.1 billion (US$1.4 billion).​The project involves the construction of an approximately 18 kilometers Metro Railway Transit System (MRTS) of elevated structure starting from Epifanio Delos Santos Avenue (EDSA), Balintawak in Quezon City traversing along Quirino Highway, Novaliches and Zabarte Road in North Caloocan City up to Barangay Gaya-gaya in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan. A passenger transfer facility shall be provided proximate to the EDSA-Balintawak station of LRT Line 1 and the MRT 11 Balintawak station.

LOOK: 1st ship out of 9 missile-armed Shaldag Mk.V Fast-Attack patrol crafts ordered by Phil. Navy's at the Israel Shipyards Ltd. (FAIC-M) awaiting pre-inspection delivery later this month according to Francis Mangosing of the Inquirer.

The first two of the nine missile-armed patrol crafts bought for the Phil Navy are expected to be delivered this September while the other three will be delivered next year. The remaining four Shaldag Mk.Vs will be built here at the Naval Shipyard in Cavite as part of the agreement for technology transfer included in the contract.
