Gwanghallu Pavilion, rebuilt in 1638 during the reign of King Injo, is one of the Joseon dynasty's finest structures. Originally built in 1419 by Prime Minister Hwang Hui, it was later renamed by scholar Jeong In-ji in 1434. Designated as Treasure No. 281, Gwanghallu is renowned for its craftsmanship and is part of the historic Gwanghalluwon Garden, which includes a pond and other pavilions. It is one of Korea’s four major pavilions, alongside Yeongnamnu, Chokseongnu, and Bubyeoknu.
