As the world celebrates 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻'𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆, it's only fitting to shine a spotlight on extraordinary women who have broken barriers, inspired change, and left an indelible mark on society.
With that, the Department of Tourism-Region III presents 𝗪𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗡 𝗜𝗡 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗣: 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 featuring the remarkable women of Central Luzon. Among these individuals stand 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝘂 𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴, a beacon of resilience, strength, and empowerment, whose journey is nothing short of awe-inspiring.
𝗠𝗮𝗹𝘂 𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴, a prominent figure in aviation and empowerment, has a remarkable journey that began with her success as the first runner-up at the Ms. University International 1984. Over her 16-year career as a flight attendant for Saudia Arabian Airlines, she garnered acclaim for her exemplary service, embodying dedication and inspiring others.
Today, 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝘂 is a renowned speaker and the founder of Advocates for Personal Excellence Training and Consultancy. Through initiatives like "Kamusta Host," she promotes Filipino hospitality globally. Recognized as the Topnotcher Master Trainer by the Department of Tourism, 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝘂'𝘀 commitment to excellence is evident.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝘂 values her roles as a wife and parent. She champions women's empowerment in tourism in Region 3, encouraging self-discovery and leadership among women. As a woman after God's heart, she draws from her own experiences, inspiring others to embrace challenges while upholding Filipino values. Through her efforts, 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝘂 contributes to the vibrancy and sustainability of the tourism industry in Region 3.
