The Department of Tourism (DOT) is celebrating yet another recognition received by El Nido, Palawanโs Hidden Beach as renowned travel media company Condรฉ Nast Traveller shortlisted the tourist-favorite and award-winning destination as part of its global โbest beachesโ list this year.
Earning the 19th spot of the 34 world-renowned destinations chosen, writer Lizzie Pook described hidden beach as โone of the worldโs best.โ
โPalawan is filled with pristinely beautiful spots but Hidden Beach โ surrounded by imposing limestone cliffs and with startlingly bone-white sand โ is separated from the turquoise ocean by a small keyhole-like opening, through which visitors must climb in order to access the lagoon,โ she wrote.
