Angat Dagat can mean two things when translated into english: "Rising of the seas", which is the sad truth about whats happening in our planet right now because of global warming, and "Upliftment of the ocean", which is something that we have the capacity to do so right now. Philippine Surfing Academy created Angat Dagat as a way to give back and to protect the very playground its promotes by show

ing people that being eco can be a really fun lifestyle. Angat Dagat's main projects are the eco festivals that have activities that involve eco awareness, eco preservation and eco tourism promotions and programs for those locations in the Phlippines that really need help.
