Suspension of Operations in Dipolog Airport
As of October 18, 2023; 8:30 PM


Cebu Pacific advises its passengers that it will suspend operations in Dipolog Airport on October 19 due to the runway surface damage. As safety is of paramount concern, operations are suspended until we receive verification that the runway is safe for landing and take-off.

The following flights are cancelled:
DG 6603/6604: Cebu – Dipolog – Cebu
5J 703/704: Manila – Dipolog – Manila

Affected passengers have been informed and provided with the following options through the Manage Booking portal on the Cebu Pacific website https://www.cebupacificair.com/manage-booking:

1. Flight Rebooking / Rerouting

Rebook or reroute any flight bound for Dipolog for free. Should the travel period extend beyond thirty (30) days from the original flight date, a fare difference may be applied.

2. Travel Fund

Store the full amount in a virtual CEB wallet valid and use this to either book a new flight or pay for add-ons (example: baggage allowance, seat selection, etc.)

3. Refund

Full refund of your ticket.

Other countries that vied for the award include India, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.

As of October 16, 2023, The Philippines is projected to have 128 ports of call or cruise calls in 2023 across 33 destinations across the country. These cruise ships are expected to bring in more than 101,000 passengers and some 50,000 in estimated crew.

Among the arriving cruise ships include the Seaborne Encore, Silver Shadow, MSC Poesia, Queen Elizabeth, Norwegian Jewel, Coral Adventure, MS Seven Seas Explorer, MS Star Breeze, Silver Whisper, Oceania Cruises, Aidabella, and the Blue Dream Cruise which has made its maiden voyage to the Philippines this month.
