Tomorrow Island (Big Diomede) and Yesterday Island (Little Diomede).
The Diomede islands are just three miles apart but the bigger island is almost one day ahead of its smaller neighbour (21 hours) because they sit on either side of the International Date Line which passes through the Pacific Ocean and marks the boundary between one calendar day and the next. They sit in the Bering Strait between mainland Alaska and Siberia
Big Diomede is located on the Russian side while Little Diomede is on the US side. The ice bridge that forms between the two islands in winter makes it possible, although illegal, to walk the short distance between them and 'travel through time'.

A sneak peek of the new terminal at Suvarnabhumi International Airport, called SAT-1, seen on Monday. It will be available during a soft opening from September 28th.

The terminal will be officially open by PM Srettha Thavisin on Thursday. The new terminal is linked to the old one through an underground railway.

🇵🇭Philippines hope for a direct ✈️flight communication with 🇷🇺Russia by the New Year.

✈️Flight communication between 🇷🇺Russia and 🇵🇭Philippines may be renewed by the New Year. It is planned to start with flights from Vladivostok to Cebu, said Mayor of the Philippine resort Michael Lopez Rama.

According to him, negotiations on launching direct flights have been going on since summer, but now there is specifics in the issue. In particular, the mayor has prepared an official address to the Parliament of the 🇵🇭 of the Philippines asking to facilitate the process of arranging flights. They must start no later than December in order to attract Russian tourists to the country during the January holidays.

It is already known that Aeroflot is interested in the transportation organization. However, for now, I have received permits for flights to Cebu and Manila only from Moscow. So, to launch flights from Vladivostok, an additional decision from Rosaviation will be needed.
