Super Typhoon LEON/ KONG-REY continues to affect Batanes Province of the Philippines. The storm is moving towards Southeastern part of tomorrow.

Major Hazards for this storm in Batanes
1. Strong Winds | Makusug a Angin :
PAGASA issues Signal No. 5. Expect more than 185 kph winds. This is really violent and capable of widespread destruction.

2. Heavy Rains| Makahapus a Uwan :
Expect Torrential Rains with accumulation of more than 200 mm in the next 24 hours. Widespread flooding is expected

3. Storm Surge| Daluyong :
PAGASA warns the coasts of Batanes with a possible storm surge height of more than 3 meters.

There is a major threat to life and property.
Evacuation should have taken place already!

Inanusyo ni New NAIA Infra Corp. general manager Angelito Alvarez noong Lunes, September 9, ang planong bagong terminal assignment sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport .

UPDATE: Aabutin pa ng tatlong taon bago maipatupad ang planong pag-reassign sa terminals sa paliparan.

Apektado nito ang local carriers na Philippine Airlines at Cebu Pacific, pati na rin ang Air Asia. Pero ayon kay Alvarez, wala pang eksaktong petsa kung kailan ito maipapatupad.

New NAIA Infrastructure Corp. (NNIC) General Manager Angelito Alvarez announced that Terminal 1 will be exclusive to Philippine Airlines (PAL), Terminal 2 will serve domestic flights for PAL and Cebu Pacific, Terminal 3 will accommodate all international carriers, and Terminal 4 will be for AirAsia flights.
