PAL CANCELS SEVERAL DOMESTIC FLIGHTS

Due to current restrictions of the Inter-Agency Task Force on Infectious Diseases (IATF) on non-essential travel in and out of Manila, Philippine Airlines is compelled to cancel several domestic flights.

The cancelled flights are:

March 23 and 24
PR2039/2040 Manila - Caticlan - Manila
(Passengers to be accommodated on PR2041/2042 Manila - Caticlan - Manila March 23 and 24)

March 23 to April 4
PR1861 Manila - Cebu
(Passengers to be accommodated on available Manila - Cebu flights)

March 23 to April 4
PR1836 Cebu - Manila
(Passengers to be accommodated on available Cebu - Manila flights)

PAL has sent e-mail notifications to the affected passengers.

If you are a passenger of any of these cancelled flights, you may:

1. Convert your ticket to a Travel Voucher (request until June 30, 2021);

2. Avail of unlimited rebooking (no rebooking fee) until December 31, 2021. If you will be completing your travel in the same booking class by June 30, 2021 (or ticket validity, whichever comes first), there will be no fare difference charge;

3. Refund your ticket without penalties

You may request any of the options via the myPAL Request Hub at https://mypal.vip/url/RequestHub.

At present, all domestic flights to and from Manila shall carry only essential travelers ( Locally Stranded Individuals (LSIs), Returning Overseas Filipinos (ROFs) and Approved Persons Outside Residences (APORs) ), subject to compliance with travel protocols required by the LGU of final destination.

This is an evolving situation. We shall provide updates, as needed, via our PAL page and website www.philippineairlines.com.

PAL CANCELS SEVERAL DOMESTIC FLIGHTS

Due to current government restrictions on non-essential travel in and out of Manila during the current Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) period, and the government order temporarily suspending inbound travel from Manila, Cebu and Davao to airports in the Western Visayas region (Region 6), Philippine Airlines is compelled to cancel the following selected domestic flights to/from Manila.

Boracay to accept tourists beginning Oct. 1: tourism chief

MANILA (2nd UPDATE) - Top tourist destination Boracay will accept travelers from all over the country beginning October 1, the Department of Tourism said Wednesday.
All tourist will be required to present a negative confirmatory test result for COVID-19 taken 48 to 72 hours prior to their travel, Tourism Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat said.
Airlines are advised to use the Godofredo P. Ramos Airport in Caticlan as the sole airport of entry to Boracay, she added.

In June, the island opened to residents of Aklan, Antique, Capiz, Guimaras, Negros Occidental, Bacolod and Iloilo. It had closed last March due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Boracay is "well-prepared" for its opening next month, Interior Secretary Eduardo Año said.
"Well in place, nakita namin ang preparation nila at masasabi na come Oct. 1 prepared na ang Boracay sa ating domestic tourists," he said in a virtual press briefing.
(The preparations are well in place and we can say that come Oct. 1 Boracay is prepared for domestic tourists.)
The tourist-favorite island has an isolation facility and those who test positive or are suspected of carrying the disease will be transferred to mainland Aklan, Año said.

SAAN ITO PWEDENG KUNIN O I-PROSESO?

1. MEDICAL CERTIFICATE - sa ospital kung saan ka irerefer ng barangay
2. BRGY. TRAVEL PASS - sa inyong Barangay Hall/City or Municipal Hall
3. TRAVEL AUTHORITY - PNP Station sa inyong lugar.
4. ACCEPTANCE LETTER - kung saang lugar po kayo pupunta.

MGA PAMAMARAAN PAANO ITO MAKUHA:

1. Pumunta sa inyong barangay at magtanong kung paano makakakuha ng medical certificate. Papupuntahin ka nila sa health center or hospital ng inyong lugar. Depende sa barangay ninyo kung saan kayo irerefer na hospital po.

2. Pag nakakuha kana ng medical certificate, ay pwde kanang bumili ng ticket mo pauwi, kasi may fifill-upan ka po na Form sa barangay nyo para sa pagkuha ng TRAVEL PASS. Kailangan po kasi sa travel details nyo.

3. Pumunta sa PNP para iprocess ang TRAVEL AUTHORITY

PAALALA:
Habang magpo-process ng medical certificate, makipag-coordinate po muna sa LGU na uuwian ninyo. Tawagan ang kamag-anak at magpakuha ng ACCEPTANCE LETTER. Tatawagan po kasi ng LGU kung saan ka ngayon ang uuwian mong probinsya o LGU para kumpirmahin ang iyong pag-uwi. Mas madali ang pagkuha ng travel authority kapag ang iyong kamag-anak sa iyong uuwian ay nakapunta rin sa LGU municipal office para ipaalam na uuwi ka at makakuha ng acceptance letter.

Pag nakakuha na ng ACCEPTANCE LETTER ang iyong kamag-anak ay pakuhanan ito ng picture at nararapat na isend ng kamag-anak mo sa messenger dahil ikaw na byahero ay ipapakita mo ito sa PNP upang di kana mahirapan sa pagkuha ng travel authority.

Mga Documents na dapat hawak mo habang nasa Airport:

🔹Confirmed Flight Ticket
🔹Temperature check-upon departure in the origin airport
🔹Health Declaration- upon declaration in the origin airport
🔹Travel pass
🔹Passenger locator form

May mag aassist sa inyo na mga personnel sa airport upang makakuha ng HEALTH DECLARATION at PASSENGER LOCATOR.
