BARANGAY #28 SURONG

Brgy 28 Surong is one of the smallest barangays of Pasuquin. It is located in the eastern part of the town proper.
Farming is the primary source of income in the barangay, and it is known as one of the producers of fresh fruits and vegetables.
As a farming barangay, corn is one of the main crops; that is why we used dried corn husk and seeds to come up with the lantern and Christmas tree.
Bamboo was also used to serve as a stand for the Christmas tree. Dried corn husks were made into flowers as the main highlights and attraction for the Christmas tree.
As for the lantern, dried corn leaves and seeds were also used. The corn seeds pasted on the center of the lantern represent the members of the community as one and united, for we believed that in unity there is strength.

BARANGAY #21 DADAEMAN

The real star of Christmas is the Lord Jesus. The love of Jesus for humankind is the greatest; like the peanut that we use, it is color red. The peanut shell is complex and not easy to break; it symbolizes our faith; it is solid and unbreakable. The lights are different colors, for it is like us Dadaemanians; we are different people but shine and beautiful in our ways but with unity and coordination.
We also used palay grains because they symbolize sustainability. We believe if we are hardworking, God will provide our needs, for we are all people of God, so we are all blessed and loved by God.

Christmas is a symbol of Hope, Peace, Love, and Joy and the making of Lanterns and Christmas tree plays a vital role in this festive season.
The Christmas tree that we made showcases our barangay as a whole.
The BOAT as the base is what we utilize for our source of income which is fishing.
The COCONUT symbolizes our strength that no matter the catastrophe we encounter, we remain firm and resilient.
The STAR on top symbolizes the guiding light of God and the people symbolizes unity, which make the guiding light shine brighter for the betterment.

Crafted with the spirit of Filipino tradition, the Paskong Pinoy-themed Christmas tree stands as a testament to unity and oneness under the leadership of Punong Barangay Racks Jerick Aguinaldo Ferrer.
Adorned with vibrant sinamay ribbons, delicate sinamay balls and intricately crafted tree-root-formed Christmas balls, the tree reflects the rich cultural tapestry of the Philippines.
The sinamay elements evoke the country's indigenous craftsmanship, while the tree roots repurposed into festive ornaments symbolize sustainability and nature's abundance.
The color palette, embracing red, brown, yellow and green, mirrors the Philippine Flag, embodying joy, hope and unity. As the tree sparkles with twinkle lights, it becomes a radiant symbol of collaborative effort, warmth, and the enduring magic of Paskong Pinoy.

The star was woven from the husks and fibers of the coconut, and ornately assembled flowers were inspired by the blossoming flowers of the different masetas in Naglicuan. The people made use of Coconut Tree in making its parol since its abundance is undeniable in the community. Moreover, the benefits of this tree, dubbed as the tree of life, are innumerable and undeniably remarkable.

BARANGAY #12 PUYUPUYAN

Barangay Puyupuyan is one of the Coastal Barangays in Pasuquin and popularly known for its Old Pasuquin Watchtower and crystal-clear water of the beach.
One of the most iconic symbols of Filipino Christmas Spirit is the Christmas Lantern and Christmas Tree. Our lantern is not usual commercial lantern because it is made up of indigenous material. Our Christmas Tree with Lantern symbolizes hope and unity. It is mainly made up of Anahaw leaves which is the national leaf of the Philippines and some other indigenous materials like bamboo and coconut shell. Anahaw mature leaves are dried to become long lasting and glued around the Christmas tree.
A simple lantern but with a true spirit of Philippine Christmas.
