The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines would like to clarify that ONLY CAAP-operated commercial airports will be providing and processing the exemption of students from the Domestic passenger Service Charge (DPSC).

Airports operated by separate authorities such as the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA), Clark International Airport (CRK), and Caticlan Airport are not included in the implementation.

Cebu Pacific Advisory
Flight 5J 568 (Cebu-Manila)
July 28, 2019

We regret to inform all concerned that Cebu Pacific flight 5J 568 (Cebu-Manila) was cancelled as the aircraft assigned for the flight needed additional servicing due to damage sustained from a lightning strike while en route from the earlier Manila-Cebu flight.

The flight was supposed to depart Cebu at 1035am today.

We are doing all we can to accommodate affected passengers on other Cebu-Manila flights today, though most are almost full. Other passengers have also been transferred to the Cebu-Clark flight. While waiting, meals and refreshments were served to passengers.

Passengers that cannot be accommodated on flights today will be given meals and hotel accommodation. They will be flown on flights tomorrow, July 29.

Each passenger was also issued a Travel Voucher that can be used for a future flight.

We are sorry for the inconvenience this weather-related situation has caused. We appeal for patience and understanding as we try to fly all affected passengers and resolve the situation at the soonest time possible.

THE LONGER WAIT IS OVER. Starting 01 October 2018, passports would be available in as early as six working days as the DFA shortens the releasing period for passport applicants in the Philippines.

Secretary Cayetano: We made a promise to the President and to our kababayan that we will work hard to give them fast, efficient, and secure passport services... Shortening the length of time our kababayan would have to wait before they could receive their passports is part of that promise.
