PASSENGER REMINDERS - PEAK HOLIDAY SEASON 2024
We expect a high volume of passengers to travel on our domestic and international flights during the Christmas and New Year peak holiday rush.
For your travel convenience, we highly encourage you to:
· Allocate extra time in going to the airport. Ensure that you will make it in time for your flight, particularly when flying out of Manila or other major airports in the Philippines where heavy traffic is expected. Plan to arrive at the airport at least 3 hours before your domestic flight; or at least 4 hours before your international flight.
· Check before you fly. Please check your updated flight status and terminal assignment before heading to the airport by visiting www.philippineairlines.com, clicking the Flight Status Tab in the PAL website.
· Skip the lines. Check-in online via www.philippineairlines.com or your mobile app within 24 hours up to one hour before your flight.
· Stay within your free baggage allowance. Ensure that your bags are within the allowable free check-in baggage weight as indicated on your ticket.
· Check your travel documents. Ensure the completeness and validity of all travel documents.
For International trips:
1. Passport should be valid at least 6 months from your date of travel
2. The name on your ticket must be exactly the same as the name reflected in your passport
3. Ensure that you have required visas, permits, vaccination card (if appropriate) and other documents required for your destination
For Domestic trips:
1. Bring your valid government, school, or company-issued ID
2. Ensure that the name on your ticket is exactly the same as the name reflected in the ID presented upon check-in and boarding
· Register for E-Travel. International travelers are also required to fill out the E-Travel Registration, as mandated by the Philippine authorities.
· Check your terminal assignments. In Manila, PAL domestic flights depart from NAIA Terminal 2, while PAL international flights depart from NAIA Terminal 1.
