Araw ng Kagitingan, formerly known as Bataan Day, is a nationwide holiday in the Philippines celebrated annually on April 9th. On this day, we remember the heroism and bravery of the Filipino and American soldiers who fought the Japanese army and overcame the daunting clash to bring freedom in our country.

The unwavering bravery displayed in the Battle of Bataan helped us in shaping the history of our nation. Their sacrifices encourage us to face challenges head-on by serving as a reminder to proudly and resolutely embrace how far we have come as a country.
