We were honored to welcome the esteemed National Validation Team for the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) from the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) to the happy municipality of Sabangan.

It was a pleasure have you at the office albeit a short one and the opportunity to show beauty and hospitality of our community. We hope you enjoyed your time with us as much as we appreciated the opportunity to connect and share our initiatives with you.

The Municipal Tourism Office of Sabangan led by Tourism Officer Warden B. Taltala held a community meeting at the Napua Barangay Hall on August 22, 2024 to discuss the upcoming Search for the Best Tourism Village in Cordillera. Napua has been selected as this year’s entry, a recognition of its stunning natural beauty, strong community cooperation, and commitment to sustainability.
During the meeting, Mr. Taltala emphasized the significance of this honor and outlined the steps needed to prepare for the competition. The residents of Napua expressed their enthusiasm and readiness to showcase the unique charm of their village, highlighting the close-knit community spirit that has made their barangay chosen for the said competition

𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗡𝗼𝘄 | An american based Film production - Steelhead Marketing, Betsy-D Film Productions, and FilAm mountain biker Samantha Soriano team up with Tuguerao City's mountain biking enthusiasts for an exciting adventure at Batacang Adventure Park, Data, Sabangan, today May 8, 2024.

The activity is coordinated through the Department of Tourism-Cordillera representative, Mr. Vince Dangiapo and Sabangan Municipal Tourism Officer, Mr. Warden Taltala. The group explored the rugged mountain ridges, capturing the journey for an upcoming video documentary.

Superintendent Benilda M. Daytaca has urged teachers to step up their efforts in enhancing student performance. She emphasized the importance of teachers going the extra mile to support their students. By rallying teachers to give their best, Superintendent Daytaca aims to empower students to achieve their full potential and excel academically.

District Supervisor Leonie P. Sarol has diligently outlined the achievements for the academic year, encompassing academic successes, sporting triumphs, the growth in both teaching and non-teaching personnel, as well as an increase in new enrollees. Additionally, she provided insight into the student population across all schools within the district. With such a comprehensive overview, it is evident that through strategic planning and continued dedication, the district is poised to secure even greater accomplishments in the years to come.
