We are working to educate and share our knowledge and wisdom about the Insect's Wold through visual displays showcasing the Insect fauna of the Philippines. We also offer an array of other live insects on the first Insect zoo in ou

r country. Aside from the Butterfly Garden that features live butterflies, we are introducing a new educational activity - Our Entomological Trek - It is a new activity that endeavors to let our young and adults alike to experience live insects in their natural habitat -Our Rain Forests! here we will educate our youth on the importance of Ecology and the symbiosis of all life forms that inhabits their specific biotopes.

Dorcus titanus imperialis ♂ - Commonly known as Stag beetles, a very large male with large mandibles, they inhabit our rain forests and are fairly common, but very few people understand these creatures. They are part of our diversity and our ecology, they maintain the balance on certain biotopes. Males posses these magnificent pincher like mandibles to protect themselves from predators. A totally beautiful, magnificent and awesome species! #Subicinsectarium
