LOOK‼️‼️ The Local Government of Sto. Niño is looking for an aspiring candidate to represent the Municipality of Sto. Niño for the upcoming Search for the Mutya ng South Cotabato 2022. The Search for the Mutya ng South Cotabato beauty pageant is among the highlights of the Annual T'nalak Festival where candidates vie for the most beautiful and intelligent woman in the province as Mutya ng South Cotabato.

The candidate must be:

- a resident of the municipality of Sto. Niño for at least one year as of July 01, 2022;

- single, naturally born female and 17 to 24 years old as of July 15, 2022;

- at least 5'4 inches tall (barefoot); and

- able to express herself in English or Filipino.

Boggie Paul Philipp Matinong, and Municipal Administrator Joffrey Jofax Frinal, awarded the Certificate of Participation among the participants of RACE to Eleven during the conduct of the flag-raising ceremony.

Race to Eleven Eco-Challenge, spearheaded by the Arts, Culture, Tourism and Museum (ACTM) Unit of the South Cotabato Province, was held on November 11, 2021, as part of the celebration of Provincial Tourism Month.

The Team that represented the Municipality was also awarded as the Best TikTok Performer.

Sa ginanap na selebrasyon, nagbigay ng kaalaman si Binibining Rochelle F. Vasquez, g**o ng Sto. Nino National High School, tungkol sa temang, "Filipino at mga Katutubong Wika sa Dekolonisasyon ng Pag-iisip ng mga Pilipino.”

Sto. Niño Tourism Planning Committee conducted its first-ever meeting last August 16, 2021, at Senior Citizen Hall, Sto. Niño Municipal Ground.

Inventory of Tourism Sites, Accomplishments, and Targets were presented and concerns about Budget and Work Plan were discussed.

LOOK: LGU Sto. Niño turned over 10 Food Carts to existing Boulevard Food Vendors.

Spearheading the Turnover Ceremony was the Municipal Mayor Solly F. Villalobos, together with the Municipal Administrator Mr. Joffrey F. Frinal, MPDO Mr. Brian De Eyoy, and Tourism Coordinator Ms. Jan Monalisa Castillon.

This project was initiated by the Arts, Culture, Tourism and Development Unit and was supported by the Municipal Planning and Development Office. It aims to support the Municipal's local food industry and encourage the small business owners to thrive despite the COVID-19 pandemic.

📌 WELCOME ARCH/BOUNDARY LANDMARK DESIGN CONTEST (ISULAN-STO.NIÑO) ⛩

🔎 GUIDELINES:

1. The competition is open to all residents of Sto. Niño, South Cotabato
2. Entries may be in any art style (drawing, painting, digital, etc.)
3. Submitted entry shall be an original work of the participant
4. The overall design should capture the tourism theme of the Province of South Cotabato as the Land of the Dreamweavers and the Municipality of Sto. Niño as the Center of Organic Agriculture
5. The arch/landmark may either be a single structure to be constructed at the side of the road or two (2) complementing structures on both sides of the road
6. Feasibility of the construction should be considered especially the height (for large cargo trucks plying the National Highway) and width (to accommodate six (6) lanes – approximately 40m. wide)

RESERVATION FOR WINNING ENTRIES

1.The winning entry will inform 80-90% of the final design
2. The Municipality of Sto. Niño holds the exclusive right to add, alter or modify the final design
3. Influences and icons from other entries may be incorporated in the final design

📆 TIMELINE:

- Deadline for submission will be on July 19-20, 2021
- Announcement of the winner will be on July 23, 2021

Winner will receive a cash prize of P3,000, Certificate of Recognition to be awarded by the Municipal Mayor, and his/her name will be engraved on the Welcome Arch/Boundary Landmark.🎖🏆

PUBLIC ADVISORY 📣

FOR ALL RETURNING OVERSEAS FILIPINOS (ROFs) and RETURNING RESIDENTS (RRs)

Starting on Monday, June 28, 2021, the LGU Sto. Niño will start implementing the use of Safe, Swift, and Smart Passage (S-PaSS), Travel Management System by DOST.

To register, just follow these easy steps:

1. Go to https://s-pass.ph/
Create an account
2. Apply for Travel Coordination Perrmit (TCP)
Upload travel requirements
3. Check on status application (Approval shall be within 24-48 hours upon submission)
Once approved by the LGU, ensure a copy of your QR Code (printed/screenshot)
4. Present QR Code for scanning at checkpoints upon entry (airport/seaport/LGU Sto. Niño Rescue Vehicle)

Travel Requirements:

1. Any valid ID (Government Issued ID);
2. Negative RT-PCR (swab or saliva) test result;
3. Certificate of Acceptance from Municipal/Barangay

Note:
Municipal Health Office will not issue a Certificate of Acceptance without the Memorandum of Undertakings from your Barangay

LOOK: LGU Sto. Niño celebrates the 123rd Philippine Independence Day at the Municipal Hall. 🇵🇭

The simple yet symbolic celebration started with the flag-raising spearheaded by the Municipal Mayor Solly Villalobos and PNP Sto. Niño headed by PMAJ Sherwin Panaguiton, followed by the offering of flowers to our National Hero Jose Rizal.

This year’s theme is “Kalayaan 2021: Diwa ng Kalayaan sa Pagkakaisa at Paghilom ng Bayan”.
LGU Sto. Niño is one with the nation in commemorating the sacrifices of our old and modern-day heroes especially in this difficult time.
