Apo Whang-Od was mentored by her father to be the first and only female Kalinga Tattooist of her time. At 106 years old, she is the oldest tattooist in the world and will continue giving people Batok tattoos as long as her health allows. In order to preserve this culture, Apo Whang-Od has trained her bloodline successors - Grace Palicas & Elyang Wigan to carry on this legacy.

Witness the art of traditional hand-tapped Kalinga tattoo and be part of this legendary craft.
