SOUTHERN LEYTEÑOS YOU CAN NOW REGISTER FOR THE SOUTHERN LEYTE AUTOMATED TRACING SYSTEM (ACTS)
SO. LEYTE ACTS provides a province wide QR code system. Offices and establishments operating in the Province will be soon required to implement the automated tracing system after the registration phase.
THERE ARE ONLY 2 STEPS TO REGISTER ANG GET A QR CODE. IT'S THAT EASY.
Step 1. REGISTER ONLINE 🖥️

Step 2. WAIT FOR CONFIRMATION ⌛
After registration, you will wait for an email confirming that your LGU accepted your registration OR rejected it, so make sure in STEP 1 you are able to input an active email address (preferably Gmail). You can use one email address multiple times/for multiple accounts if you're the one registering your family member/s who can't provide an email address.
❗IMPORTANT: IF 48 HOURS HAS PASSED WITHOUT RECEIVING A CONFIRMATION MESSAGE IN YOUR INBOX THEN KINDLY CHECK THE SPAM SECTION IN YOUR EMAIL, THERE'S A BIG CHANCE IT'S THERE. IF IT'S NOT THEN PLEASE VISIT YOUR RESPECTIVE LGU AND BRING A VALID ID OR SOME SORT OF IDENTIFICATION TO VERIFY YOUR ACCOUNT.
The confirmation email will also contain a copy of your QR code, make sure to download or screenshot your code. You can print your QR code or save it in your phone. 📲
To avoid your registration being rejected, make sure that in STEP 1 you are able to fill up everything correctly and upload a CLEAR photo of your VALID ID (front and back). Acceptable VALID IDs are government IDs that has your birthdate indicated.
Another reason your registration might be rejected is because of the Age requirement.
❗IMPORTANT: Minors (20 below) and seniors (60 above), are not permitted to go outside of their residences in areas under MGCQ, so if you belong to the age group 20 below and 60 above, you're registration may be rejected. If you're not a minor but you don't have a government ID please upload a school ID that has your birthdate indicated or any Institutional ID that shows your birthdate, last option would be to visit your Municipal LGU/ Provincial Capitol and present your birth certificate.
❗ EXCEPTIONS of the age requirement:
1. For employed individuals aged below 21 or 60 and above, upload your employment ID.
2. For senior citizens not living with anyone who is 21-59, secure a barangay certificate, take a photo and upload it in the portal.
3. For individuals (below 21) who are living with senior citizens and to whom the elderlies can only rely on in buying essential goods, they can secure a barangay certificate, take a photo and upload it.
4. In households where ONLY minors and/or seniors are residing, they may request a certification that there are no Authorized Persons Outside of Residence (APORs) in their households, from their respective barangays. All barangay officials are requested to facilitate the issuance of this certification even without request from these households. All SK Federation Members are requested to assist in the application/registration for the QR codes of both the provincial and city governments.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQs):
1. How do I activate my QR code?
Answer: No worries, it's already been activated! The moment you receive your code via the confirmation email it means that it's already verified/activated.
But how did that happen?
Well, in STEP 1 everyone is required to upload a photo of their valid ID, that photo will be used to verify your registration.
2. I am from MAASIN and I already have a QR code, should I also register to SOUTHERN LEYTE ACTS?
Answer: It depends on your situation. If you need to travel to other Municipalities then you need to have a SOUTHERN LEYTE QR code to enter their offices and establishments, and if you're not from Maasin, you need to have a MAASIN ARK QR CODE to be able to enter stores, offices and establishments in the city. You can get a MAASIN QR CODE by visiting the page Maasin City QR code and register. Maasinhons, LGU Maasin will address your concerns regarding your QR codes same goes for everyone else, your respective LGUs will cater to your concerns and queries.
3. I am from SOGOD and already have a QR code, do I need to register to SO.LEYTE ACTS?
Answer: No need, you're good to go. SLSU is the developer of both SOGOD QR code and SO.LEYTE QR code, so they are the same.
4. I am not from Sogod but I already have a Sogod QR code, do I need to register to SO.LEYTE ACTS?
Answer: No, you don't need to register because the SO.LEYTE QR CODE and SOGOD QR CODE are the same.
5. I am not from Southern Leyte but I work in Southern Leyte, can i register to SO. LEYTE ACTS and get a QR code?
Answer: Yes
6. What happened to the unified QR code system that we asked for?
Answer: SO. LEYTE ACTS is a province wide QR code system, however Maasin City already established their own QR code system and that's okay, they can be independent.
7. What will I present to enter the offices and establishments operating in Southern Leyte?
Answer: SO.LEYTE QR CODE (except for Maasin City)
8. What will I present to enter the offices and establishments operating in Maasin city?
Answer: MAASIN ARK QR CODE
9. How long will I have to wait for the confirmation email?
Answer: 48 hours. If 48 hours has passed without receiving a confirmation message do the following:
a. check your SPAM section of email there's a big chance it's there. If not then;
b. bring your ID or some sort of identification like your birth certificate to your nearest LGU, if you are situated in Maasin, you can visit the Provincial Systems Administrator's Office (PSAO) in the Provincial Capitol Building.
10. If I misplace/lose my QR code or delete it from my phone how can I secure another copy?
Answer:
Method 1- Trace the confirmation message in your email where your QR code is attached.
Method 2- You can secure a copy of your QR code at www.user.southernleyte.org.ph. Login using your qr code number and your contact number (you may change your password after). You can also monitor your QR code footprints as well as your status - flagged or not flagged.
Method 3- Get in touch with your LGU to get a another copy.
11. Is it safe to upload my valid ID? It has my personal information.
Answer: Upon approval or rejection, ALL IDs uploaded that is associated with the account will automatically be deleted by the system.
Note: If you can't register online, then it's okay, you can have a walk in registration in your Municipal LGU, dont forget to bring a valid ID, but for your safety it is strongly advised to register online.
For maasinhons who want to register to SO.LEYTE ACTS you can register online or you can visit the Provincial System Administrator's Office (PSAO) at the Provincial Capitol Building.
