PASSENGER ADVISORY:

The Manila airport authorities have scheduled a series of electrical maintenance activities at NAIA Terminals 1 and 2 starting today, 06 February, until March 7, 2024 as part of an ongoing upgrade of the airport's electrical support systems.

The authorities are assuring passengers that it will be business as usual at the airport, i.e., the critical systems used for passenger processing will remain operational, and disruptions, if any, will be minimal.

The scheduled maintenance work is a unified strategy involving the airport authorities, utility providers and all stakeholders to ensure uninterrupted flight and passenger movement and minimize any impact on flight operations in both terminals.

We expect a high volume of passengers to travel on our domestic and international flights during the Christmas and New Year peak holiday rush.

For your travel convenience, we highly encourage you to:

· Allocate extra time in going to the airport to ensure that you will make it in time for your flight, particularly when flying out of Manila or other major airports in the Philippines where heavy traffic is expected.

· Plan to arrive at the airport at least 3 hours before your domestic flight; or at least 4 hours before your international flight.

· Please check your updated flight status and terminal assignment before heading to the airport by visiting www.philippineairlines.com, clicking the Flight Status Tab in the PAL website.

· You may check-in online via www.philippineairlines.com or your mobile app within 24 hours up to one hour before your flight.

· Check the latest carry-on and check-in baggage requirements.

· For international travel, ensure that your passport is at least 6 months valid from date of travel and that you carry the required visa and other important travel documents.

· Please bring a valid government-issued ID and any applicable company or school ID when taking domestic flights.

Jet operations to Dipolog resume on January 1

Effective January 1, 2024, we will operate our full schedule of Airbus jet services to and from Dipolog City as follows, following the completion of repair work on the Dipolog Airport runway:

· PR 2557 Manila-Dipolog departing Manila at 05:15 AM, arriving in Dipolog at 06:45 AM

· PR 2558 Dipolog-Manila departing Dipolog at 07:30 AM, arriving in Manila at 09:00 AM

Suspension of Operations in Dipolog Airport
As of December 6, 2023

Cebu Pacific (CEB) advises its passengers that flights between Manila and Dipolog will be suspended from December 8 to 17, 2023 due to runway repairs which limit commercial jet operations. As safety is of paramount concern, operations will remain suspended until we have assessed and confirmed that the runway is safe for landing and take-off.


The following flights from December 8 to 17 are cancelled:
• 5J 703/704: Manila – Dipolog – Manila
• 5J 705/706: Manila – Dipolog – Manila


CEB is mounting additional recovery flights to Pagadian which affected passengers may take. The following options have also been provided which they can avail through the Manage Booking portal on the Cebu Pacific website www.cebupacificair.com/manage-booking up to two (2) hours before their scheduled time of departure:


1. Flight Rebooking / Rerouting
Rebook or reroute to any flight bound for Pagadian or Ozamiz. Should the travel period extend beyond thirty (30) days from the original flight date, a fare difference may be applied.


2. Travel Fund
Store the full amount in a virtual CEB wallet valid and use this to either book a new flight or pay for add-ons (example: baggage allowance, seat selection, etc.)


3. Refund
Full refund of your ticket.


For customers with existing bookings between Manila and Dipolog beyond December 17, we will provide an update as soon as possible, once the necessary runway repairs have been completed. CEB is working closely with the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines regarding this matter.

Update: PAL Domestic Flights use North Wing of NAIA Terminal 2 (Manila) starting June 21

All Philippine Airlines domestic flights continue to use Terminal 2 of Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

However, starting June 21, 2023, PAL domestic passengers will enter and exit Terminal 2 using the North Wing side (rather than via the South Wing entrances and exits previously used for PAL domestic flights).

If you are on the roadway facing the two wings of the V-shaped Terminal 2, the North Wing is on the left, while the South Wing is on the right.

Please check the terminal assigned to your flight before proceeding to the airport, to ensure a hassle-free departure and arrival. Shuttle buses between NAIA Terminals 1 and 2 will be available for passengers with connecting flights in the other terminal. PAL international flights now use Terminal 1 for arrivals and departures.
