𝗔 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝗯𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗜𝘀𝗿𝗮’ 𝗪𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗶’𝗿𝗮𝗷 — the miraculous Night Journey (Isra’) and Ascension (Mi’raj) of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW). During the Isra’, Prophet Muhammad (SAW) traveled from Masjid Al-Haram on the back of Buraq to Al-Aqsa, then ascended into heaven during the Mi’raj.

In the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), Isra’ Wal Mi’raj is recognized as a Special Working Holiday on 27 January, 2025, through Office of the Chief Minister Proclamation No. 006, Series of 2024, pursuant to Section 1.C.1, Holidays identified in Presidential Decree No. 1083 other than those determined in BAA 39.
