To our valued Kembali Vista Villa guests and friends,

Since Monday night, we have seen negative comments and angry reactions on our Facebook account from our previous guests (July 15, 16).

At reservation, Kembali Vista Villa sends rental details and asks guests to fill out a form that acknowledges rental conditions and informs us of who and how many will be staying at the villa. These guests did not send the form. In the 24 HRS before their stay, they kept changing the no. of people coming, and wanted to cancel the 2nd night of their reservation.

The guests’ first complained about not being allowed into the villa before making their payment (which is a 5-min process, a little like checking into a hotel). Next, they claimed that one senior member in their group was prevented from using the CR, and that our caretakers locked the main entrance gate, preventing them from entering. Both claims are untrue. After their check in experience, the guests undertook an immediate negative campaign that quickly proliferated on social media.

We remain somewhat baffled about why such a strong reaction despite clearly communicated procedures at reservation time. At check out, the guests didn’t inform us of damage done in the premises (a large burn mark on a king size bedcover making the bedcover unusable for future guests). Our rental conditions clearly stipulate that guests must take responsibility for accidental damage incurred by them. Sadly, these guests also omitted to pay the security deposit requested at check in.

We regret that the guests omitted to consider and respect the rentals conditions sent to them apparently resulting in much disappointment. Nevertheless, Kembali Vista Villa is sorry for their disappointment. We appreciate some of the guests’ feedback about the check in process and Kembali Vista Villa will review its reservation and check in process to avoid such disappointments in the future.
