✈️Malaysia Tourism has some exciting news. Malaysia is experiencing exciting times as covid-19 restrictions are finally being lifted. Restrictions ease as borders cautiously ease out of the pandemic. ✈️

❤️There is no longer a check-in requirement on the Mysejahtera app.
❤️Fully vaccinated travelers will no longer be required to undergo pre-departure and on-arrival testing.
❤️No more wearing masks outside.
❤️COVID-19 insurance is also no longer required.

As of today, 22 August, there are 32 airports in the country whose Local Government Units (LGUs) have issued orders categorically supporting the resumption* of commercial airport operations in their areas of jurisdiction.

*Some airports, while allowing the resumption of commercial flights, are subject to different documentary and passenger LGU restrictions.

As of today, 6 August, there are 32 airports in the country whose Local Government Units (LGUs) have issued orders categorically supporting the resumption* of commercial airport operations in their areas of jurisdiction.

Meanwhile, domestic commercial flights will not be allowed at NAIA due to the MECQ. International flights, OWWA flights, and LSI/ROF sweeper flights to Davao and Romblon are still allowed subject to restrictions.

*Some airports, while allowing the resumption of commercial flights, are subject to different documentary and passenger LGU restrictions.

On July 9, 135 commercial flights were recorded by CAAP as it maintains operability under the provisions of the Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine and General Community Quarantine.

31 sweeper flights or special flights, which catered to a total of 2,282 passengers, were mounted to transport stranded passengers.

Meanwhile, continued service for cargo flights have been carried out, with 137 cargo flights being completed, in order to ensure that transport of goods is sustained.

On July 6, 108 commercial flights were recorded by CAAP as it maintains operability under the provisions of the Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine and General Community Quarantine.

46 sweeper flights or special flights, which catered to a total of 2,759 passengers, were mounted to transport stranded passengers.

Meanwhile, continued service for cargo flights have been carried out, with 75 cargo flights being completed, in order to ensure that transport of goods is sustained.
