Travel Advisory for Passengers Entering the Philippines
Updated as of May 27, 2022

Effective May 30, 2022 fully vaccinated and boostered Filipinos and foreign nationals are no longer required to present a negative RT-PCR or Antigen test rest upon arrival in the Philippines.

Based on IATF-approved Resolution 168, visitors must be at least 18 years old and must have received the primary series of Covid-19 vaccines and at least one booster shot.

Exempted from the pre-departure RT-PCR requirement are Filipinos and foreign nationals aged 12 to 17 who have received their primary Covid-19 vaccine/s that are included in the Emergency use Authorization (EUA) List or Compassionate Special Permit (CSP) issued by the Philippine Food and Drug Administration; or Emergency Use Listing of WHO. Children aged below 12 and traveling with fully vaccinated or boostered parents or guardians are also exempted from the requirement.

All types of vaccination certificates, regardless of country of origin, will also be accepted.

Passengers are advised to update their contact details via http://bit.ly/CEBUpdateInfo to receive email notifications on flight reminders and updates.

MANDATORY ONE HEALTH PASS (OHP) REGISTRATION FOR ALL ARRIVING INTERNATIONAL PASSENGERS

All arriving international passengers using Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA) as their primary point of entry to the country are reminded to register for a One Health Pass (OHP) account at least three (3) days before their scheduled date of arrival.

Registration is MANDATORY and FREE OF CHARGE via https://onehealthpass.com.ph/.

Passengers must upload:
(1) a copy of their negative RT-PCR test result taking within forty-eight (48) hours prior to departure; and
(2) proof of COVID-19 vaccination recognized under existing IATF regulations

Cebu Pacific announces 19 domestic destinations now open for leisure
RT-PCR test not required for fully vaccinated passengers

The Philippines’ leading airline, Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB) announces that there are now 19 domestic destinations in its network that are open for leisure travelers and no longer require swab test for fully vaccinated individuals.

Destinations include Bohol, Boracay, Butuan, Camiguin, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu (Cebu City and Mandaue City), Clark, Maguindanao Province, Davao, Dumaguete, General Santos, Iloilo, Legazpi, Manila, Naga, Ozamiz, San Jose, Tacloban, and Tuguegarao.

Other requirements may include vaccination certificate, vaccination card, government-issued ID, travel permits from S-Pass, confirmed accommodations, and registration to specific contact tracing applications.
Butuan and Cagayan de Oro require fully vaccinated travelers to simply upload their vaccination status via S-Pass.

Fully vaccinated passengers arriving at Legazpi airport must report to their LGUs for symptoms screening and profiling. Traze app must also be downloaded.

Clark requires travelers to present a valid ID and any travel document required by the local government unit (LGU).

Cebu Province, Lapu-Lapu City, and Davao do not require arriving fully vaccinated guests to present any travel documents for entry.
A person is considered fully vaccinated two weeks after their second dose in a two-dose series, or after receiving a single-dose vaccine.

“This is a welcome development, and we appreciate the various LGUs’ efforts to further ease travel for everyJuan, especially for fully vaccinated individuals. This will jumpstart the return of tourists and pave the way for the recovery of the local tourism industry, which we are also ready to support with a ramp-up in flight frequencies as needed,” said Xander Lao, Chief Commercial Officer at Cebu Pacific.
As the situation remains fluid, travel guidelines may change. Travelers must always check with the LGU of their destination for updates on travel requirements.

Travel guidelines and requirements for unvaccinated or partially vaccinated individuals, as well as for children, may be accessed via bit.ly/CEBTravelRequirements.
CEB operates with 100% fully vaccinated active flying crew. Our pilots and cabin crew undergo regular antigen testing (Test Before Duty) before they are assigned to operate flights. CEB has already started its booster program to ensure the continued safety of its employees and passengers….

TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: VAXCERTPH now with booster information

When travelling around the Philippines and abroad, VaxCertPH is one of the most widely used document to verify a person's vaccination status. It is the official digital vaccination certificate for Filipinos and foreigners vaccinated in the Philippines that may be used for international and domestic travel. It complies with the World Health Organization (WHO) Digital Documentation of COVID-19 Certificates (DDCC) guidelines.

VaxCertPH is the most preferred proof of vaccination as it is easily verifiable with a QR Code. One will not need additional certification nor present their vaccine card. Just show your digital soft copy or printed copies of the VaxCertPH when asked for a vaccination proof.

Just recently, VaxCertPH has been updated to include the booster shot of fully vaccinated individuals. The information of the booster dose appears together with your previous dose/s.

Those who have previously generated their VaxCertPH may need to generate a new one. The previous QR code generated may not work when the VaxCertPH website was updated.

Get your VaxCertPH for FREE. Visit the website https://vaxcert.doh.gov.ph/ to generate your certificate. Even if you haven't had your booster dose, you may also generate your VaxCertPh.

If your information is not uploaded yet, there is also an option to update your records. You may also need to coordinate with your LGU as your data may have not been uploaded to the vaccine operations reporting system.
