There’s a new pandemic-era gadget for those who can’t wait to gaze outside an airplane window again: Sky Scape.

A 22-inch high-resolution display surrounded by a plastic frame, similar to those found in passenger aircraft, Sky Scape offers to elevate the home and office experience as many businesses across the world remain under restrictions to curb the spread the coronavirus. It was jointly developed by two Japanese companies: Joled Inc., a maker of OLED screens, and LandSkip Inc., a designer of digital displays and installations.

“Jinrikisha” is a small, two-wheeled, cart-like passenger vehicle with a retractable roof,pulled by one or more person.

When visiting historical cities such as Kamakura or Kyoto, or older towns like Asakusa Tokyo, you could very easily encounter “Jinrikisha”. Typically, the puller, called “Shafu”, will act as a tour guide and take you around the major sightseeing spots in the city in a two passenger seat “Jinrikisha”

[When Does the Rainy Season Begin? Facts About the Rainy Season in Japan]
There are four seasons in Japan: spring is from March to May, summer from June to August, autumn from September to November, and winter from December to February.
The different seasons have different temperatures and weather, and during the transition from spring to summer in the months of June to July, the daylight hours decrease and rain begins to fall non-stop. This is Japan's rainy season.

The cause of this phenomenon is thought to be caused by the development of the Baiu front.
The Baiu front is when warm and cool air collide and remain stagnant while pushing against each other, producing rain, wind, and thunder.
In Japan, the Baiu front develops during June and July and gradually moves north, drenching the entire country in rain.

It is difficult to go outside during the rainy season's dreary weather, but even this season has its own charms!
It is the best time to see hydrangeas at their peak all across Japan, made even more beautiful with the raindrops glistening on their petals.
Make sure to not forget your rain gear when visiting Japan during the rainy season!
