CEBU PACIFIC CHECKED BAGGAGE POLICY EXPLAINED
1. Each booking is allowed to purchase a MAXIMUM of 3 checked baggage, with a MAXIMUM weight of 96 kilos.
2. The maximum weight of each baggage should not exceed 32 kg.
3. Baggage pooling is allowed, provided passengers are travelling together, checking in at the same time on the same flight number.
To explain these rules, here are some examples :
1. If you purchased 1 baggage with 20 kg weight, you cannot bring 2 baggages with 10kg weight each.
4. If you purchased 2 baggageswith 20 kg weight each luggage, one baggage can weigh 32 kilos, while the other baggage, can weigh 8 kilos, as long as the total weight of both does not exceed 40 kilos. This is called baggage pooling. But take note, the baggage should not exceed 32 kg.
To summarize: The total number of baggage and the total weight you purchased will be the limit of what you can check-in. But no baggage should exceed 32 kg.
My tip: If you're at the check-in counter already and the airline is charging you excess baggage, see if it's 2 hours before your flight. You can still purchase baggage online up to 2 hours before your flight and save money, instead paying at the check in counter.
