SURF’S UP (AGAIN!) IN SIARGAO!

The LONGEST RUNNING SURFING EVENT IN THE COUNTRY IS BACK with the 1st Mayor Sol's National Surfing Competition all set on September 28 to October 6, 2022, at the heart of the island's internationally-acclaimed tourism landmark, Cloud 9!

This is the ONLY WSL-SANCTIONED QUALIFYING EVENT for the 26TH SIARGAO INTERNATIONAL SURFING CUP that is also happening soon!

Both events are officially sanctioned by the United Philippine Surfing Association (UPSA) and the World Surf League (WSL) and organized by the Municipality of Gen. Luna and this office.

The national event includes the following:
Men Short Board (Grade 3) Competition - September 28 to October 1
Women Short Board (Grade 3) Competition - September 28 to October 1
Local Junior Division (18 Under) - October 2-6, 2022

The Men and Women Short Board will be a qualifier event for the 26th Siargao International Surfing Cup happening at the same surf spot in October.
