Day 01

PIDLISAN VILLAGE WINS SECOND PLACE IN THE 2022 SEARCH OF BEST TOURISM VILLAGE-CAR

Sagada. In the just concluded awarding ceremony for the Search for Best Tourism Village 2022 of the Department of Tourism - Cordillera Administrative Region (DOT-CAR) today, February 8, 2023 at Baguio Country Club, Baguio City, Sagada's PIDLISAN VILLAGE snatched the 2nd Place Award winning a certificate, a trophy, a token and Php 500,000.00.

FACT: The Search for Best Tourism Village is a program of the Department of Tourism (DOT) which aims to recognize the vital role of tourism villages towards sustainable, responsible, equitable and participatory rural tourism development and to provide the local communities and the indigenous peoples a platform to hone their creativity and excellence in community-based tourism.

PIDLISAN Village is composed of Barangays Fidelisan, Aguid, Bangaan, and Pide, Sagada, Mountain Province. Said cash prize is intended to fund the improvement of tourism activities in the village.
