The Sagada Genuine Guides Association (SAGGAS) will be holding their annual bonfire fest on the 28th!

But you have to be good in nursing a hangover as the next day, the Sagada Musikeros will be having their Jam in Woods (the 5th in the series) doubling as their anniversary outdoor concert!

Sing, dance and relax as you warm yourselves around the bonfire amidst the cool evening air under the Sagada pines. See you!

Sagada will be on total lockdown on Saturday, August 29, 2020, from 5 AM to 7PM due to a scheduled performance of a municipal-wide / Sedey /. All roads leading to and from the municipality will be closed.

In addition, fellow i-Sagada are advised not to hold or perform / Senga / today until Saturday. This is also a time of / Obaya / so everyone is expected to minimize noise pollution and stay in their homes.

All those entering and exiting Sagada tomorrow, August 19, 2020, are advised to take the Payag-eo route due to a cleansing ritual (3AM to 6PM) to be performed at the municipal zone which covers the Pegeo entry / exit point.

Sagada records its first COVID-19 positive case. One of our frontliners, a 29 year old male with no travel history, has tested positive for the virus. Everybody is advised to take all necessary precautions.

ALL COVID-19 MONITORING HUBS WILL BE CLOSED
tomorrow, August 10, 2020, for decontamination. No one is allowed to enter or leave the municipality until further notice. In response to this, an additional hub will be set up in the Danom area.

CoViD-19 Incident Management Team (IMT) Implementing Guidelines in Sagada:

🔐 ||||| QUARANTINE ||||

•• ALL individuals must wear face mask in public places at all times.

•• Sagada Lockdown period from 8 PM to 8 AM everyday. No one will be allowed entry and exit. Total lockdown may be implemented by the end of the month.

•• ALL Sagada residents are advised to stay where they currently are, as they are not allowed entry to the municipality.

•• For travel outside Sagada:
1. Secure a Quarantine Pass from your barangay.
2. Secure Health Declaration from from the RHU.
3. Secure your Mayor's pass at the Mayor's Office (open Monday to Friday only.)

💵 💊||||| TRANSACTIONS ||||
:
•• For transactions in Bontoc, only bank transactions using passbooks and checkbooks shall be allowed. PNB and Landbank will be open from 9AM to 12NN only.

•• For medicine and related needs, RHU will procure needed medical supply. Bring prescription and payment to your barangay official and they will coordinate with the Rural Health Unit.

•• For deliveries of vegetables from Sagada to outside Mountain Province, and entry of other food products, please seek information from the Office of the Municipal Agriculture for additional guidelines.

•• Farmers shall bring their produce to the Sagada Public Market. Excessive mark-up on products delivered is prohibited; report any instances on this. The market will only be open from 8AM to 2 PM.
