RAIL NEWS: Biyaheng Naga-Legazpi, balik na sa Disyembre 27

Tapos na ang paghihintay!

Matapos ang halos anim na taon, muli nang bubuksan ng Philippine National Railways (PNR) ang biyaheng Naga-Legazpi-Naga sa darating na Miyerkules, Disyembre 27.

Apat na biyahe ang tatakbo sa higit 100 kilometrong haba ng riles mula Naga City, Camarines Sur hanggang sa Legazpi City, Albay, at pabalik.

Araw-araw, may dalawang biyahe mula Naga papuntang Legazpi. Dalawa rin mula Legazpi papuntang Naga.

Kaakibat nito ang pagbubukas ng tatlong istasyon sa naturang ruta: Travesia, Daraga, at Legazpi.

Titigil din ang tren sa istasyon sa Naga, Pili, Iriga, Polangui, at Ligao.

Walong flag stops naman ang daraanan ng ruta: Baao, Lourdes, Bato, Matacon, Oas, Bagtang, Washington Drive, at Capantawan.

Magsisimula ang pamasahe sa 15 na piso para sa unang istasyon at aabot sa 155 na piso hanggang sa huling istasyon ng tren.

Mayroon namang 20% discount ang mga pasaherong senior citizens, estudyante at persons with disability. Nagpapaalala ang PNR na dalhin lamang ang mga IDs para magamit ang discount.

Matatandaang Abril noong 2017 nang suspindihin ang operasyon ng PNR sa nasabing ruta dahil sa kakulangan ng train coaches at locomotives.

Mayon Volcano’s alert level status has been raised from Alert Level 2 to ALERT LEVEL 3 by the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) due to increasing activity.

The public and tourism stakeholders are reminded to avoid entering the six (6) kilometer permanent danger zone due to the threat of sudden steam-driven and phreatic eruptions.

In addition, Tourism activities at Mayon Skyline is already prohibited.
