ADVISORY: The Tabon Port, the jump-off point for travel to Boracay, will implement a temporary re-routing system starting today, October 24, 2024, to manage traffic during inclement weather and ongoing road rehabilitation.

This re-routing aims to prevent traffic congestion and ensure the smooth flow of travelers to and from Boracay.

Here’s how the re-routing will work:

- Vehicles from Kalibo or the airport in Nabas area heading to Boracay: Please take the intersection near the Aklan Electric Cooperative (AKELCO) and cemetery area. This road will be two-way, serving as both an entrance and exit.
- Vehicles heading to Malay: Please use the opposite road, which will also be two-way.

A visual representation of the re-routing is attached to this advisory.

The Tabon Port authorities request the cooperation of all travelers to ensure a smooth and safe journey to and from Boracay.
