Traveling now became part of my hobbies. Touring Asia, like have been to 11 countries for the last 8mos. Of my travels.
Here are some tips that might help others who wants to visit Taipei or even farthest part of Taiwan. Im sorry guys, my pictures really are not instagramic, twitterings, or facebookable in a way! Haha im sorry! Haha. Coz, im more of experiencing the culture and discovering their ways of living! ♥️ But I am here to share again to make your travel somethin' worthwhile, convenient plus save your time and energy googling "the hows questions".
First of all, I wanna go Taipei because they said , there I can experience the fasthest elevator like youll reach the 89th floors within 37secons at Taipei 101. Yes! It was true! Been there :). Before that heres some DIYs tips for yah!
Of course , when you reach at the airport most of our plane tickets doesnt include the travel tax! So pls pls pls, pay for your travel tax first P1,620/pax. Thats all for you to save time and energy during check-in queus. (esp. For.the solo or first time travelers).
Tip 1. In terms of money, I guess better yet youll change at Pinas airport, its not actually big difference, since its only centavos diff. Either way in Taipei or Pinas you can exchange. But actually if your bank is already activated abroad you can also withdraw at almost almost same rate, and charges like 200 pesos. Well not really a big deal :)
2. Arriving at Taiwan Airport :
Well, as usual, if you wanna stay connected with the world its safest to buy a sim for data, they have 3days-5days sim which cost like 400-900 pesosdepending on your budget, al though trains have free wifi, you must buy 1 sim, for you to stay connected with the world. You need it the most when you wanna search the where to ,coz a lot of chinese could not speak in English. So :) google will always answer us in a seconds!
Buy a train card too! Its an easy access to everywhere! Hmmm, same as the other countries easycard tap to pay. Its prepaid so you can just load it. Ill tell you more convenient.
3. Download the app like Uber and Go! Metro Taipei. Very helpful in your transpo.
Use Uber : if you wanted hassle-free and convenient rides but its not cheap.
Use your easycard for trains and by Go! Metro app youll see at which train youll getting. Remember its color coding so dont be confused.
Remember this : all metro trains are inter-connected so dont be rattled if youre in a wrong train just relax and wait for the next interchange station. Youll not be lost, just ask if youre not sure! Better than walking toooo far already then you just headed in a wrong way. Hahaaha actually we have experience that!
4. Taipei is also a home of street night markets. Well of course, there, where the milkteas originated, so try it! Their milkteas was really the best I could tell :). Even on streetside teas are the best! Sausages and other barbeques. Hehe! Youll love it!
5. Tourist Spots :
Near the city tourist spots are easy to go through just buy tickets at klook for your convenience and alot cheaper.
Too many to mention for the city tourist spots, but you can go
Taipei 101- fastest elevator be found.
Ximen - Night market
Well, alot suggested to visit HOULI FLOWER FARM. Yeah! But take note its in other part of Taiwan, its far! Haha expect a solid tiring experience! But if you love flowers and mountains then then the place is good! Well, this is important for I dont want you to experience whta Ived experienced!😰 Totally tired coz, the direction wasnt that good. Tssskk! Well, the best transpo is by taking the High Speed Rail Train its expensive coz two ways are more or like P 1800 or total of almost 2500 for the fare bcak and forth. Well from Taipei main Station to Taichung, the Taichung to Houli. Then from Houli you can take a taxi going to the Houli Farm! Hehe. In all, like 2hrs only.
Of course you can also take local trains. Cheaper but would take you 4-5hrs but would only cost you like 700 back and forth.
For me, the place was good, because it was still spring when we went there last week. Like 15-17degrees cold. So the flowers are bloomingly beautiful ♥️. It was not so big but it was cute because of the colorful flowers and fresh air. Il♥️🌹. Entrance would costs you like 250 pesos. Well see pics below.
Ximen Night Market and Shilin night Market :
Taipe has a very big night market, so if you wanna buy something for Pasalubong, this is the best place and experience their milkteas, sausages and other bbques! 🌹♥️
Ps: I dont go to other tourist spots that was featured here most of the time, but I went to other part of Taiwan again At Volando Urai Spa at Wulai District, New Taipei City, it was beautiful experience and the place is relaxing. :) anyway, as I have told you guys, I dont took beautiful pics but the place was awesome. You can search and read thru comments. It was beautiful. :) it was refreshing because its away from the city.
In all, it was nice staying in Taiwan. Enjoy your trip. Just comment below if you wanna ask something. I would be very happy to help you. ♥️
Ps : sharing just some highlights of my trip. ♥️
